Games that cost that much to make, and have an IP that powerful already don't just change the name of it to something else when they're trying to make mainstream money. You can argue that they should, but they won't lol.

If they manage to tell a good and compelling story, should it matter how old you are? It's not like it's My Little Pony or something lol.

That's what I was saying! Monster Hunter, Megaman, Resident Evil, DMC, Capcom is on fire lately, and seems to be giving fans great experiences and turning back on making action movie games. I love it.

There is no third person for exploration in those games, and with the amount of objects there are to interact with and observe, it would never work either. The only time it goes third person is during things like taking cover and I think stealth kills.

Yeah, but we have no idea how the game even functions or plays. The ways you play with and interact in either a first or third person environment in games are completely different. It's like how a third person perspective would never work with the exploration in a Deus Ex game, and likewise, the combat and world interactivity would have been incredibly boring and different if Witcher 3 were first person, because these games were designed with different experiences in mind.

I'm pretty sure they solidified themselves as some of the greatest game developers in the world after Witcher 3, and also did well by all of us with all the support the game received after. I say we trust their artistic vision. Unless CDPR got lazy or completely sold out, this game is going to be great.

As a PC, Xbox and Switch owner, I have no reason to be upset over this. Nor do I even particularly enjoy the game. I don't think you get it though. It's not the crossplay that people are getting upset about. It's a plus to have, but it isn't necessary. People are upset that if you link your Epic account to PS4, you can no longer use that account to play on the other devices. One, it's anti-consumer, as Sony doesn't own those accounts, and two, it's anti-developer, ...

Most people aren't getting upset over the crossplay, they're getting upset over the fact that on every other platform, your Epic ACCOUNT is your account regardless of that platform. You can access that same account on PC, Mobile, Xbox, Switch. Some people have spent alot of money on this game. Now, if you decided to link an account to your PS4, you can no longer use that account on any other device. This obviously isn't what Epic intended. Sony has the right to refuse crossplay al...

Insulting an entire country over a video game...classy.

350,000 women served in armed forces during WW2 in the US ALONE. Granted, the Soviet Union was the only country that directly allowed women to serve in the front lines (Lyudmila Pavlichenko, a female sniper, had 309 confirmed kills, one of the top snipers of all time), but you can guarantee that at some point, women either sneaked onto front lines, or were put there due to dire circumstances in particular battles. There were some majorly badass women in WW2, pilots, spies, snipers, medics, et...

That's a pretty bold statement lol. I mean, can you really expect any corporation to actually care about people? (I mean, you could, but they won't) Sony is a business, not a person with empathy. I don't own a PS4, but I will say that they do have arguably the greatest single play experiences in gaming right now(along with Nintendo), and a great selection of games. The reason they don't want crossplay is because they feel it's going to hurt their sales. They have market le...

Fortnite does, and it's the biggest game in the world right now. Their model is going to change the industry. Why do you think every game imaginable is putting in a Battle Royale mode now? Fortnite introducing crossplay and cross saves to millions and millions of players means that gamers are going to start demanding it from other games very shortly. Expect to see shifts very soon.

There's cross saves as well, meaning you can log in on Xbox, PC, Switch, mobile, and still play with your account across any device. Link your account to a PS4, and you can't use that account on any other device.

That's a little different, considering that Microsoft also owns Minecraft.

Not only that, they didn't show or talk about it at all. It seems like they just really, really want to push Smash hard this holiday season.

It's a fighting game that's much different than most others, and has a very deep mechanical system once you learn it. I could ask why people like Forza/racing games, or flight simulators, or anything.

I mean, I love Smash, but that's all they gave focus to. I want to see Bayonetta, I want to see the progress made on Metroid, anything. They seemed to be more worried about trying to get new watchers to find interest in Smash rather than give existing customers anything to look forward to. Wrong move. Show a trailer, have a Direct at a later time to break down the movesets of literally every character. I died inside a little yesterday.

I've considered it, but I have too many digital titles. Also, aside from GoW and SoC, what big exclusives came out this year? Look on metacritic for scores by year, by this time last year 2017 blew this year out of the water.

I honestly would have preferred if Nintendo set precedent and refused to even have an E3 presentation over what we got. That was basically a Smash direct, which they could have done any time. We KNOW that multiple games are in development, like Bayo 3, Yoshi, AC, Metroid Prime 4, hell, even Luigi's Mansion on 3DS. Not hyping for these products by only showing what is releasing this year just makes people realize how little they'll be playing this year. They made the wrong move. As a N...

The Xenoblade and Fire Emblem series are like Final Fantasy; Each separate game is a self-contained title. They're not really connected except by some small lore, and you don't really have to have played any of the previous games to be able to pick one up.
