Mobile IS taking off though. It's the most profitable gaming platform there is. Active gamers may have a disdain for it, but the truth is, if a company isn't taking advantage of mobile platforms, then they're losing out on money. Also, Minecraft is a good example, as it is very successful. It's a billion dollar brand, and also is easily available on mobile. If millions of regular Joes embrace all this, yet we don't, it won't matter to them. They still are successful in...

If it's a service, then the only hardware that they need to offer is optional.

Google has some of the most powerful servers in the world. Google would most likely be the company to roll out an all streaming service instead of a console. They would sell partner devices like an Alexa (or Amazon does this themselves) to make the process easier for the consumer, but the software itself would be available on many different devices. They have the technology and money to actually shape the industry if they really tried. If it's a more profitable business model, then that&#...

I've been saying it for awhile, but good luck to any company in the world competing with Google or Amazon. They're both going to end up trying to get into as many markets as possible, and they have more resources than almost anyone to be able to capture those industries. Future's gonna be scary people xD
Basically, other than first party, third party companies can choose what platforms that they develop and publish for. If Google, for instance, starts to offer better ser...

Depends on whether or not you opened it, gonna dictate most of the value to a collector.

People like collecting things. Probably won't open the package or play the physical copy. It's like saying it's stupid to own older consoles and play them when you can just get an emulator instead.

Yes, the original print probably sold out in minutes by either collectors or resellers.

Again, this company sells limited print games, and most people that buy them are usually getting them for collections, as is, the game is never going to be opened or played in the first place. It's sitting in the plastic on a shelf or case.

Collectors. You'd be surprised the money people spend to complete any kind of collection. I imagine most people buying this are keeping it in the package.

People love what people love man. There's probably someone getting a Fortnite tattoo this very second.

I'm sure you've spent money on things that other people would consider stupid. Cigarettes? Drugs, booze, fast food? Maybe even a CoD game lol. Also, some people just have alot of money, and spending it is of no concern to them.

The game is free though. People are spending money on it because they want cosmetics, and that is their own choice. Has no bearing on game mechanics. It's not half as bad as Magic: The Gathering. If you want to keep up in that game with standard decks, people have to spend hundreds a year.

MHW sold very well on Xbox as well. I think it is Capcom's highest selling game ever now actually, and it will sell great on PC as well.

And Sony stole Tomb Raider from Sega and made it into one of their mascots lol. Was originally developed for the Saturn. Third party companies can choose what to develop for at any time they please. Capcom has been publishing multi-platform since the beginning. Hell, Megaman games even came out on the Genesis.

World is a great game, and looks pretty, but again, if you look at 4U, it has about three times the amount of Monsters, and therefore gear and ability combos as World does. Many fans would also argue it's a more difficult and more hardcore experience as well. Not that I don't definitely appreciate the QOL additions in MHW. There were reasons why Capcom chose to stay away from consoles for years, and the five year development time of the most recent MH is one of them.

I imagine they'll develop two different games simultaneously. One of the reasons they moved it to 3DS, not including install base, was that it was easier and faster to develop for considering the weaker hardware. World 2 will probably be a multi-platform release, and then they'll have a more difficult game on Nintendo consoles. I love World, but 4U has about three times the monsters/gear/content. Creating all those characters, gear sets and animations in a high res environment would b...

I'm pretty sure Capcom had a choice of where to publish their games.

FF8's storyline is crazy lol. Multiple simultaneous time paradoxes. One of my favorite FF games.

If rumors are true, they probably have less to show now than they did two years ago, considering all that work was scrapped.

This is literally the only mention of the PS2 in the article, and it's praising the extra mode it had on it:
"And don’t even get me started on the Ada’s Separate Ways story introduced on PS2, and action-packed Mercenaries mode — both of which are basically full games on their own." There's also a link to a Playstation Enthusiast video, so I doubt the writer has a problem with the platform.
I know you like to troll alot, but at this point, you're actuall...
