I knew that the clickbait reviews for this game would be the ones giving it a high score instead of a dismal one xD
Hell yes; It's been way too long. Parasite Eve 1 and 2 are absolute classics.
I'm okay with the next game, if you have to go through a battle with wild Pokemon, but no more random encounters. Having them spawn like they do really breathes life into the world, and gives the player a choice on how they would like to progress.
Wii U wasn't fully BC unless you hacked it, as the Wii was fully BC with GameCube games. You could only play GC games on Wii U through USB loading. That may potentially have given the Wii more value to many.
When the hell has Pokemon ever been a hardcore game lol. The targeted demographic for the last 20 years has been CHILDREN. Say it with me now.
Ultra came out like, 7 years into the 3DS life, with probably triple the amount of 3ds sold compared to Switch units. You can hardly compare. I say look at attach rate and how many consoles the game moves itself.
It's nice to expect integrity and all, but if writing game reviews and collecting ad revenue is one of your sources of income, I don't expect people to not create articles and willingly have less money.
I would like a return to a more Gothic artstyle with Diablo 4, akin to 2. D3 was a very fun game, but it just felt too happy/colorful for the setting. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing wrong with colorful games, as I play tons of Nintendo games. It just didn't feel right.
They can't make a game that isn't broken with an engine they have well over a decade of familiarity with, what makes you think they have the skills to develop an entirely new engine? Bethesda's strong point was always art and storytelling, and deep RPG mechanics in their earlier games, which they've pretty much stripped bare now. Todd has admitted to them not knowing how to program ladders correctly, with the excuse being they can't make AI use them correctly with their en...
I'm not even going to waste my time downloading it for free. Better games to play.
You can still manually update your firmware, without using Nintendo servers, and 6.2 has already been cracked.
It's already been cracked lol. There is no way to stop hackers on Switch with older models with a software update. They have the lowest level access to the console you can pretty much.
Dude, I don't even use my controller, I just tell Alexa what game to boot. It's great. "Computer, tell Xbox to play Overwatch." Done.
If it's backwards compatible, I'd buy it without a disc drive. Especially if that lowers the price any. Would be very nice to still be able to play my 300 digital titles and game share.
From what I see of the game, I don't see how third person would function very well. Third person isn't great when dealing with verticality (which 2077 seems like a very vertical game), and/or having to interact with large amounts of items. Do you think third person would ever work with the newer Deus Ex games? Absolutely not. It would be a nightmare trying to interact with small items on higher planes. Even in Witcher 3, you run into that problem and see the limitations when trying to...
Yeah, when you have time travel and parallel universes, it doesn't even really matter when and where they take place lol. It is cool when they purposely design it to fit in with an established game, but the rest, you're just fumbling for pieces. BoTW seems to take place hundreds of thousands of years in the future of any game, and doesn't matter. It's a bit of a letdown, but doesn't take away from enjoying the game.
I have found it to be one of the best features of the game now that I'm more than halfway through. It lets you tailor the game experience. Do I want to grind for exp, catch every pokemon in this area, or rush through to the next gym? There are trainers every five feet to grind for exp and items also, but they mostly have movement patterns and can be avoided if you want. Lets you pick what to catch, and chain combos let you hunt for better stats. I kinda hope they do away with random battl...
I've been telling people how polished it is. Really, it's a great, fun effort from Game Freak.
That's just Japan, and only retail, not digital. It's been a week now, probably in the millions worldwide.
Smash is fantastic, been playing. It's alot faster than 4, and makes Brawl look like Smash in slo-mo.
