The voice options are great to have, but I wish that games that offer it would offer actual Japanese translations as well, instead of just slapping the English version subtitles on top of the Japanese audio. Pretty much every game does it, and many things are usually changed in localization.
I'm glad. The AAA industry needs a good wake-up call. Yearly series have grown very stale in recent years. Smaller titles and indies have been getting glowing reviews and selling very well, which is great too, as they tend to take more creative liberties.
Xenoblade Chronicles HD, for the love of God.
I am really looking forward to playing this on Switch.
There is full 360 movement on joystick, which removes the tank controls, but you still run into the problem of camera angles and direction shifting on you like any game with fixed cameras like that. The option of old controls is on the dpad. It runs great on Switch.
E3 probably. Especially with Sony stepping out, MS will probably see it as their big chance to show the game off in a big way. Wish they'd show it sooner though lol.
Onimusha plays wonderfully on the Switch! Was a fantastic PS2 game, and I recommend picking it up once it launches next month.
Please tell me what the combined install base of the PS4 and Xbox were when that game launched.
Nintendo has really vamped up its marketing strategies since then. Also, social media is more developed than it was 10 years ago, and people are more connected and aware of products. Lastly, many Wiis were casual purchases, and collected dust despite the good games on the console. Anyways, the Switch is killing it, and I'm glad Smash is selling so well.
When most of the games I would recommend from this year are indies lol.
Last Story 2? Wishful thinking lol.
Game Pass is worth it this month. Ashen, Below and now this.
Give us a hand animated X game like Ori and the Blind Forest. Unrealistic, time consuming and expensive, but man, that'd be awesome.
It's the name of the tabletop game the story is being based on, Cyberpunk 2020. Like how Witcher was taken from the book.
It would suck and be a very frustrating experience. Third person is not good for interacting with large amounts of items on vertical levels. You know when you're trying to look at something, and it won't lock on? Picture that constantly. Just try to remember Witcher 3, and trying to interact with an item on a shelf, in a game with no verticality whatsoever, and you just can't friggin click on it. Cyberpunk has items and tech everywhere, vertical levels, ducts, skyscrapers, etc. Pl...
It's like asking for Deus Ex in third person, it wouldn't work. The game was designed in first person, which is better at verticality and interacting with large numbers of objects and items. Do you think Zelda would work great in first person if you just switched the camera? It was a specific design choice that was decided early in development.
I feel like the story works better with Kassandra. Alexios makes for a better villian, and playing as her seems to make the story a bit more emotional.
It is a dream of mine to see Nintendo's in house team create a Megaman or Sonic game.
If you're willing to mod it, you're better off just modding a Shield TV. Higher specs, similar price and can easily put Retroarch on it and play tons of games, including a decent amount of Gamecube and Dreamcast titles at full speed. PSX Classic is using the open source PCSX emulator as well, which is part of Retroarch. Also, you'd have the advantage of using PS4/Xbox controllers.
Hey, I'm just glad that the Switch is getting the game, and that the demand for Dragon Quest still exists at all. PS4 RPGs getting released on Switch as well is a fantastic thing for gamers. They're both awesome pieces of hardware.
