It's definitely going to take some more time for first party games, but I do believe that the Switch will be looked back fondly upon as a very successful console, and as a turning point for Nintendo.
Screens and internal batteries definitely drive up production costs. The Switch isn't built anything like other current consoles. It's a six inch tablet lol. Disconnect the controllers and hold it next to a PS4 or Xbox. It is a miniscule piece of hardware for what it's capable of.
They don't appear when the rumors are around, and then blindside you when there aren't any lol.
Both games packaged together as one download/cartridge would be pretty sweet.
Link's Awakening remake/sequel please. I know, I mention this at least once a week lol.
How is this an issue? Get the battery pack or just use rechargeable batteries. If you have the disposable income for a console and games, it's not an incredible amount extra for one of those options. I have two controllers, they last a very long time, and I charge one while using the other.
This is a game that needs to establish a pro scene quickly.
Same! Can't do Fortnite, very much disliked Blackout and PUBG, but this game is of excellent quality, and FUN.
Sure they are. Draws attention to Respawn, and there's a chance people enjoy it, buy loot boxes, and support them in the future. Also, player data collected is collected from playing games, which is used for all types of business decisions.
I've never liked Battle Royale games. Apex Legends, though, is really good. Ping system is fantastic for cooperation without having to talk, feels smooth and different enough to have its own personality, and it moves so much faster than other games in the genre when it comes to traveling and encountering team fights.
The amount of data companies have on people is staggering. They know how old you are, your friends, buying habits, how much you make, where you live, how you spend your time, everything. You can identify a person based on how they hold and touch their phone even, how they walk with it in their pocket, etc. Millions, probably billions are spent on storing the information, and developing and utilizing algorithms and analytical tools to make as accurate estimates as possible. That data is collec...
In five years time, I'd wager the Switch will be considered one of Nintendo's most important and successful endeavors. Just needs more first party games, which will come in time. People will still be talking about BotW and Mario Odyssey in ten years. Great games on any console in history are ones that are truly timeless and still played often. Hard to argue that it's not the best thing they've created since the Gamecube, and its sales and amount of titles released will easily ...
Pretty sure Smash is already one of the highest selling exclusives of all time already lol.
Pretty sure Sakurai clarified that the game was built from the ground up. Keeping the recognizable art style and character animations uniform doesn't mean it's a remake. I don't think people realize how much effort went into that game. Ask almost any decent developer in the industry if they think they would have worked that hard on it.
It's the internet. Impossible to avoid toxicity when there are no repurcussions to the people propagating it.
I play Overwatch pretty much every day, and there are definitely some things I think Paladins does better. For one, it takes less time to spawn and get into team battles, meaning more action. Games move quicker, so it doesn't feel as heavy when you lose. That shit can be soul crushing in OW.
It's a pipe dream, but I've always really wanted to see a Nintendo vs. Capcom game. Hand drawn like MVC2, or use the hybrid style that Dragonball FighterZ employed.
Dino Crisis remake would be AWESOME. Onimusha HD is pretty great on Switch, been playing that. Dragon's Dogma coming to that platform as well.
I'm very happy to be witnessing this renaissance they seem to be having. Capcom lost their way for more than a few years, but with their IP and talent, they should definitely be one of the most fondly regarded publishers if they continue to deliver great products.
dozen's don't, eh?
