Honestly, Apex is probably destroying every other shooter right now. Everyone's playing that. Overwatch turned into a ghost town on Xbox after it released.

It would definitely have to be more durable. You can throw a 3DS across a room and it would still be perfectly fine. Very hard to keep a tablet sized screen safe from kids.

The 3DS really took off after its first major price drop though, and I expect to see the same when the Switch gets a significant drop at some point. I know quite a few people who would bite if it was a little cheaper, especially once it has a bigger library.

Don't feed the troll lol. Don't do it.

Kinda sucks. The Pokemon visible in the world of the Go series was easily the best part of the game, and the best thing that's happened to the series since G/S. It not only gave you more choice in your own progression, but made the world feel more full and realized. It was very much a positive to the entire experience. New games should have had a combo of both: Visible on the map, and still have to fight before being capturing. Random encounters suck, and that is an archaic game mechanic ...

"A Nintendo 2DS console starts at just $80, while a Nintendo Switch retails for $300."
The 3DS is a 8 year old device. The Switch will drop in price eventually, and will continue to sell when it does, along with its games. I imagine Nintendo plans on supporting the Switch for a long time. If anything this game will greatly boost hardware sales when it releases.

Gonna be hard for anyone to ever top Halo 3. That game was a damn masterpiece.

I'd say if you don't have one, try to find a used or refurbished Slim. Cheaper price point, and some of the older PS4 exclusives are very cheap now and still worth it. I got Bloodborne, Shadow of the Colossus and Last of Us for about $15 each. Hell of a deal.

Teaammate breaks off formation, dies in first minute, quits game. Happens three games in a row xD

Grindy? You can literally run right to the end of the game after the tutorial if you have the skill and don't want to see the rest of the game.

Came here to post the same thing lol.

Found one example: SaGA is one of the greatest selling RPG franchises, and NA hasn't gotten the last two titles. We never got Dragon Quest X either. Although I do agree that we got most of the big selling titles, and the question the article poses has a pretty obvious answer: Because it won't make a return on investment.

All kinds of games have differing levels of game play though. Some people play RTS, or action games, or turned base RPGs, or visual novels. Life sims, shooters, etc. All vastly different and there's a market for them all. VR is a different type of experience, and it's obvious the tech will continue to improve.

Presidents in corporations can have many different roles and duties. Handling meetings, hiring/firing, financial obligations, decisions on how content is provided to customers, presentations. Definitely dissecting information and relaying it between shareholders and headquarters to make sure everyone understands what they're supposed to.

Need a major MMO on console built from the ground up on VR. That would definitely be something that draws some new lines.

Me as well. I gamed on Xbox most of this generation, before buying a Switch (launch day) and PS4 to compliment, but VR support will most definitely be a deciding factor for me next gen. If it's something that actually sells well, and becomes more affordable to many, it will change the landscape of gaming forever.

Give it ten years, it'll be wireless.

Well, it's because it's the next leap in gaming, as important as 2D-3D. Games can become completely photorealistic, but it's the same experience unless something changes, like incredible AI and physics improvements, or the immersion that VR brings. There are so many ideas for VR that haven't been tapped into yet.

I plan on investing in PSVR next week. I want to help support the platform so we get more games and more money invested into it. Not nearly as impressive or powerful as Vive (my friend has it, pretty mindblowing), but with the full backing of Sony, could still get some astounding games. I am excited for the future of the tech in both recreational and educational purposes. They're already building some insane haptic feedback devices, like suits that have bars that extend to your hands and ...

How many generations behind in portable tech though? Man, you people are salty. You should see how good some games like Doom look now on the small screen with the docked overclocking sysmodule.
