The original RE2 or original RE? Because the remake of 1 is in current Gen consoles as well. Well, the remaster of the remake that was in GameCube xD
For me, it goes from 4 to The Evil Within xD
They've been adding free content to Monster Hunter: World regularly for over a year now.
One of the best horror games I've ever played, pick it up. We gotta show Capcom if they treat their customers right, we'll take care of them in return.
They did use their propietery Resident Evil engine to make RE2. It was initially built for 7, and is being used for DMC5 as well.
Resident Evil 0 through 3 all take place very closely to each other, and often overlap.
I'm pretty sure the director described it to his team as "Resident Evil in space" lol.
What a game that was though.
It was awhile back, but Fatal Frame 2 did get a full remake on Wii using the engine from 4, and it was amazing. Terrifying game.
I swear, most people didn't complete RE3 back in the day because they turned their Playstations off after the first time he burst through a wall xD
Agreed! I'm happy that they finally mostly pulled their heads out of their asses lol. They're doing well by their IP right now, and that's great. Also, Mega Man 11 was good too! Smaller title, but the best Mega Man game there's been in years.
Predictions for some Switch games announced this year:
Paper Mario or other Mario RPG, either a new title or remaster of TTYD
Zelda HD collection or Skyward Sword remaster
Star Fox (by Retro? I know they were working on something)
Top down Zelda, remake or sequel to Link's Awakening
Super Mario World 3 (Hey, a man can dream, right?)
Persona 5 port (iffy on this one, but would be pretty big news)
Monster Hunter
Pikmin
...
I hope so! I'd buy that day one as well.
The visuals? This has some of the best environment and enemy graphics I've ever seen. Game isn't sitting at over 90 for nothing. Capcom killed it with this one.
I am pretty crushed that they basically scrapped development, but also very happy that Retro will be making 4 now. The only thing is, most of the senior designers for Metroid Prime 1-3 that worked with the company left after the third entry. Talking lead programmers, managers, art designers, the whole works. Retro's latest work on the DK series has been very high quality though, so I'm curious.
Nintendo patents plenty of technology that they don't really ever use. Might just have plans for it in the future if it's marketable. I remember a few years back, Nintendo had a patent for a projector that can project an even image over uneven surfaces, through sensors that identify what it's projecting onto, then correcting the image. As in, you could project over a staircase, and it would still be seen as an even, watchable picture. Anyways, as far as this is concerned, I imagin...
I agree. There are developers who could do more with the IP they own with less.
Plenty of rich companies still do well by their customers and shareholders though. Activision just seems to be imploding from poor upper management.
I sold my gaming ETFs months before this stuff happened. Then bought some more when it was low lol. Anyone that actually knows the gaming industry has seen that Activision and EA are crashing hard.
Wouldn't telling people the opposite (to speak of stocks because of upcoming business moves) technically be insider trading? lol
So has Disney, Rogue One aside.
