None of those games I mentioned are incredibly similar as well, but they're all online first person shooters. If I'm feeling that genre, I have plenty of other options to choose from over Division. Same as if I want to play an RPG, I have to make a choice on what to play and spend my money on.
Yeah, and millions of people are still going to buy the next CoD this year when they dump $100 million into advertising. Yippee.
Sony has the luxury of making games that might not necessarily make a profit, but will in turn draw people to their hardware.
The problem is that most studies have shown that people value graphics more than anything else in video games. These huge games have been prioritizing graphics because it will sell more. There needs to be a balance of great art direction and gameplay.
In performance though, the higher refresh rate feels better. I'll take lower resolution with higher refresh rate any day. At 65 inches, you're going to be sitting back so far anyways to play comfortably.
It depends on the price of the hardware by then. If Nintendo can get production costs down, they can lower the price. The better the system sells, the more attractive it will become to developers to make exclusive content, especially considering that dev costs will be far lower than creating games for the next generation of consoles.
Yeah, I'll pass on this. Sekiro and Devil May Cry this month instead. There are plenty of shooters to choose from when I'm feeling it. Can boot up Overwatch, any Halo or Apex whenever I please lol.
The problem is many areas simply don't have decent enough internet to download that big of a file. I have friends in Canada, and not only would that blow through their data cap, it would probably take over a week to download as well.
That controller is basically a carbon copy of a Playstation controller.
The original is one of the most important games to me (ever), but but it's way too soon to be saying that an unreleased game will be GOTY. We have no idea what we'll even be playing in 6-7 months yet.
How many people have a gaming PC capable of even utilizing this? That's probably another 6k right there lol.
Have you played it in VR? Friggin' terrifying.
Let us not forget Gamecube as well. RE4, Remake and Zero, Killer 7 and Viewtiful Joe all were released there first. I still think the PS2/GC/Xbox gen was the best in all gaming.
Capcom, let's gooo!
One psvr title a month would be fantastic.
Titanfall 3 could be huge because of Apex now though. They should find a way to merge the two games. Have a launcher within Titanfall 3 that can go seamlessly into Apex, and vice versa, where you can bring party members or members you team up with.
Tropical Freeze says hello lol. Damn near one of the difficult games I've ever played. Anyways, I think a more important question would be how important difficulty is in a game. You could play a game that offers relatively little challenge, and still enjoy it greatly, and then another game might be unecessarily difficult without there being any lasting impression at all. The experience is what is important. I like a good challenge, but I had relatively few deaths in Mario Odyssey, and sti...
I'm really excited for this. 343 are very capable devs. There were huge flaws with Halo 5's story, but the game still felt GREAT to play, and their production values and art direction are through the roof. I think MS knows that the next Halo game needs to be truly special to keep its place as a gaming legend. I just hope that they streamline the story a bit. They've kinda put themselves in a corner by having to rely so much on expanded lore. Great for the lore enthusiast, but that...
I own both as well, and I HATE the PS4 menu systems. Takes forever to load, and you shouldn't have to leave a game to accept a party invite. Nevermind that half the time the PS4 store fails to load. Xbox's OS is much cleaner experience.
MCC is one of the greatest collections in years. Amazing game and must own if you're a Halo fan.
