They might eventually, but I don't really see it being viable for another 5 years or so. Perhaps for its 20th anniversary. The gameplay in that game is still just too damn good, and it's far removed from the original storyline anyways. The only thing really to do is streamline the inventory management, and improve the graphics. The cheesy B action movie storyline was intentional. The game still managed to scare and unsettle, but it was never survival horror.

I played AC: Odyssey on the Project Stream beta, which just ran the game in Chrome from a webpage, and the thing is, there was no noticeable input lag. I honestly couldn't believe how well it ran. 1080p, 60fps, decent settings (honestly looked better than on base Xbox One), minor artifacts occassionally but almost no lag at all. I gotta say, it absolutely felt like a glimpse of the future. There were a few times where I remember explicitly thinking about how amazing it was that this is po...

Oh, he will. He'll take all of it.

Nintendo just announced they restarted the entire development and handed it to Retro. Not gonna see Prime 4 for a looong time unfortunately.

They're probably thinking it could be greatly beneficial for both parties if a good deal is struck between them. Nintendo has serious deficiencies with their online infrastructure, while Microsoft has arguably one of the best in the world. At the same time, Microsoft can reach an entirely new audience with their paid online services and other products. Also, MS has a SERIOUS problem trying to establish a foothold in Japan, while Nintendo is pretty much the king there, aside from mobile ga...

Except the last DLC for XV got canceled and the game will forever remain unfinished. Damn shame.

Depends what country you live in. There are many factors. Whether the emulator you're using is legal (as in built in a clean environment with no copyrighted code), whether how you got a digital copy is legal, whether or not you're bypassing any copyrights. Not that people ever get prosecuted for any of it. Although, I can't say I've ever met a person who emulated games they actually owned either xD

Don't they all though lol. The story for FFIX is seriously underrated though, and mostly overlooked due to the art style. It's easily one of the darkest stories in the franchise's history. Kuja commits mass genocide, starts an intercontinental war, destroys almost every major state and country in the world, destroys his whole entire world, kills his creator, forcibly rips summons from a teenage girl after manipulating her mother into letting him do it, then kills Brahne with said ...

Holy crap, who cares. Unless they're going the Overwatch route and pushing all forms of media and backstory. In which case, just go play Overwatch lol. They did two gay characters in a hero shooter first lol.

Also Shining Force. I miss that series.

I've always wondered what a Sonic game developed by Nintendo's in house would be like.

They should be paying close attention to Capcom right now. They were in a similar situation, and pulled themselves out of a hole by making great games again.

Bayo 2 was critically acclaimed, and if Nintendo and Sega weren't happy with it, 3 wouldn't be happening.

They made a cool $400 million. I don't think that's dense lol.

I'm not big on BR, but they are definitely talented devs. I dunno, EA though. Bad.

What's wrong with AA and indie games? Every game can't be a giant blockbuster. It's like saying you only enjoy summer blockbuster movies. What about the indie films?

Haven't played it yet. Enjoyed the first two. As long as Microsoft makes me feel like it's worth it every month, I'll continue to subscribe. When Ashen released, it was worth it for that game alone.

Does it matter though, if they're making technology that can improve the quality of someone's life? If in the past, I had ever lost an arm, there goes almost everything I could ever enjoy doing. Being able to game still, especially if it's something you love, that's big. I'm sure with these types of products, you have to do testing with real world people with disabilities to make sure it works and is intuitive, and I'd bet every cent I'll ever own that the people w...

So the BR was their idea, and they had to convince EA? What universe did I wake up in.

Insofar as story, only one of the campaigns is canon. Pick one lol. They wanted you to experience G and Mr. X regardless of which character you were playing. It would be like saying that there are two Burkins, since Leon and Claire both fought him in the same place, and both knocked him off the ledge. It would have taken away from the game if you went through an entire playthrough without seeing them, is all. It may have been too difficult for them to keep continuity between both characters a...
