Watch Bowser's first major announcement be a Mother 3 localization lol.
Imagine the day when powerful AI programs can generate all of our music, movies, shows and video games tailored to our whims. Won't be many dev jobs available then. Many of us might live to see it.
Anyways, if you like their games, support the company. Or don't, if that's how your principles guide you. Just be aware of their business practices, and make sure you're not getting taken advantage of. I'd like to know what big companies like Activision and EA do with p...
I'm thinking the game Nintendo is supposedly reviving is Eternal Darkness. Or at least, that's what I hope lol.
In terms of quality, IX was miles ahead of any FF game that came before it. Graphics, translation, renders, quality of story-telling, character animations, sound recording, you name it. If someone doesn't like the characters, art direction, music or story, that's cool. That's subjective, and not everyone will like the same things. As a game however, on a technical level, if you put 7 next to 9, it's not even close in terms of game design. FFVII, as enjoyable as it is, is a com...
Link Between Worlds was practically a remake of LttP though. Yes, it was a sequel, but used the same world. That Minish Cap idea though, I'd play that. That art style is very amazing and holds up for a long time. I want to see a modern, completely cel-shaded Zelda where you play as Adult Link. So, basically a much darker Wind Waker. The twist? Link is cursed, and turns into a Dark Link, where you can move through shadows. That would look and play EXCELLENTLY in a cel-shaded environment.
I'm doubtful that will happen, but that would be absolutely huge if it was packaged together as one experience. The thing is, those games take place directly before LA...
If you beat both and unlock the linked story where you beat Ganon, the ending has him departing on his ship, heading directly into Link's Awakening.
I ended up buying two more copies of Hollow Knight for friends, because I felt like I didn't pay nearly enough for the experience I received lol. First time I've ever had that happen. Did you see the trailer for Hollow Knight 2?? Damn, I'll pay full price for that if I have to.
I'm thinking $40 would be a good price point for the game. One of my most treasured games of all time, so I'm playing it regardless, but it would look a little wonky putting it next to BotW at the same price.
That's not true though. Switch has been killing it in with software sales across all genres. Over 164 million games sold as of January. That's not bad at all, and many indie titles are selling better there than other consoles. Yes, their first party games are the best sellers on the console, but N first party games are also some of the best selling exclusives in existence. Not that PS4 owners don't buy a wide variety of games, as they do, but to say people only play kiddie games o...
All three have great first party IP that bring different and unique things to the table. Nintendo has the magic of Zelda and Mario, Sony with great cinematic experiences, and Microsoft still has arguably the best multiplayer shooting experience with Halo. Don't get me wrong though, Nintendo inhouse are amazing and creative devs, but there are other studios with those qualities as well.
I love my Switch, but we're only halfway through the second month of the year lol. We have no idea what games we'll be playing come Holiday season. We'll see after E3.
How cool would it be if they brought Titans into Apex.
Just remember that switchable items and healing are mapped to the dpad only. Up for healing, right for grenades. Hold them to bring up a menu. Right bumper/R1 is your ping, which is invaluable. If you have time, hover over any items for a second, and it will bring up a description. Every character only has one usable ability other than an ult, so if you can remember the button, it's not nearly as complicated as managing multiple cooldowns on a game like Overwatch. Takes a little time to g...
Every character is now gay and trans lol. In every game. Ever.
Agreed. Don't like it, don't buy it. If paying money gives you a statistical, or any in-game advantage, then you're in shit country.
Unfortunately, our education system isn't good enough to fill the highest end jobs in the industries where the US leads, which is one of the reasons why we fast-track people in the first place. If we get rid of that visa, or if other countries' tech industries catch up to/surpass ours, those qualified people would stop immigrating, our education system wouldn't be up to snuff to fill those positions, and we fall way behind everyone else.
What
Nah, it's cool man, everyone has their tastes. I have all three consoles, and there are games I love on all of them. Definitely looking forward to some Switch games releasing this year. WHY is no one talking about Hollow Knight 2!? Damn. But yeah, Mario Maker 2 will be fantastic, Zelda, Astral Chain, Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion, Dragon Quest, I'm very much looking forward to them.
Link's Awakening was the first Zelda game I ever played. I was 8 (this was around '95), and until then had mostly just played Megaman X, DKC, Super Mario, mostly action and platformers on the SNES and NES. I had never played an RPG until Link's Awakening, and later Super Mario RPG. I never knew that games could be so deep, involved and emotional. Obviously story-telling in games has come a long way, but back then, that was a revelation to me. I was obsessed, fell in love with the ...
Easy. The story was amazing, it had a fantastic, long soundtrack, good characters with a great art style, far superior character animations to the games before, great translation. I wish awful things upon whoever decided the steal rate on bosses though.
