Yes people, it's downgraded a bit visually. That was obvious from the announcement. It's still surprising how well it looks considering the hardware though. Imagine if this was a Switch exclusive, just announced. People would be surprised at how good the graphics look, opposed to being purely focused on the level of downgrade from other versions. Perhaps it's not the most suitable game for the console, but I still think it's definitely cool that it exists at all.
If that's how you feel, wouldn't you say that about pretty much every game though?
He nailed Kratos. Great performance, and I hope he returns to the role. Damn, GoW was one of the best games I've ever played.
Keep dreaming lol. I mean, I wish, but yeah xD
Also, will FF7R even be Playstation exclusive?
Well, most people don't buy hardware at launch. Look at the PS4's launch, the games were mostly ports. And Knack.
Competition is good. People are used to, and want to continue using Steam however, so timed exclusives are definitely irritating consumers. On the other hand, Steam should re-evaluate how they're dealing with publishers who seem far to eager to get away from their platform. Epic also needs to improve their services. Whether or not they can do so without taking a larger cut from devs/publishers (to recoup costs, which may lead to the exact place Steam is at), begs to be seen.
HOLLOW KNIGHT! Any fan of Metroidvania style games (and Dark Souls!) owes it to themselves to play that game.
Well, if one can afford to own a house and feed and clothe 4-5 kids, they most likely are well off enough to afford other things as well lol.
Books are for everyone too, but it doesn't mean that someone in elementary school can understand college textbooks.
"Independent art films are too confusing, they should have dumber dialogue and more explosions."
Remember Tenchu, when if you died at the boss with multiple health bars, you had to replay the entire level? I remember.
There's a huge problem with difficulty modes in games in general. Not that they're bad, I just mean it's literally a problem for game creators. When you're designing a game, it's created to convey a very particular experience. Usually difficulty is nothing more than damage modifiers, and can break experiences if the devs are not very careful (Halo 2 Legendary sniper Jackals anyone?), and takes extra time and resources to test properly. A game like Sekiro would be completel...
Anyone who plays Fire Emblem knows you restart any fight someone dies in anyways xD Same with FF Tactics and similar games.
Permadeath is brutal.
They're old games now, but classics, and hardly anyone bought a Wii U. These games deserve to be played.
WW HD employed an entirely new lighting engine, which really makes the game shine. Twilight Princess HD's improvements are much more subtle, and it looks far more dated. Cel shaded games like Wind Waker tend to age very well.
Such a great game, and Nintendo added lots of improvements to the HD version. Streamlined quests, faster pace, whole new lighting engine. It looks really good for such an old game due to the art style. Twilight Princess HD was pretty good too, but it definitely looks more dated, and was handled by a third party studio.
Even if that game were $30, they still wouldn't be making a profit. They'd have to double their sales to still reach that $673 million loss. And that's Gamestop itself, imagine how poorly the franchisees of non-corporate stores must be doing. Bleeding money I bet. The interest in physical media is declining, and their costs to operate are astronomical. Renting space in malls costs tens of thousands per month. Payroll, royalty fees, insurance, high electric bills, etc. They can'...
PCSX2 still has tons of problems. PS2 emulation isn't that great. It can definitely work, but it's such high level emulation that you're potentially losing quite a bit of the original version, and faced with bugs and crashes. In my experience anyways.
I don't think it's easier, I just think it's more accessible. You have more freedom of movement, and the level design puts checkpoints right in front of bosses. When you die to a boss in DS or BB, it feels far more punishing because it takes forever to get back to them. Checkpoints are sparse, and your character movement is much slower, so by the time you die once and run all the way back to a boss in one of those games, in Sekiro you could already have died to the boss you're...
I'm sorry man :(
People suck.
