This game has done significant damage to the entire Battlefield brand. No one is going to touch the next title either. EA is going to have to remake a title like Bad Company 2, and do it right to get players back.
Weird choice not to go with a dynamic resolution. Could squeeze alot of extra performance out of the RT mode. The game is so dark in many places that they could have aggressively cut resolution on areas you're not directly focused on, and no one would hardly notice. That or allow a 30/40 FPS lock to reduce stuttering.
I hope you love it. Zack is hands down the best character in the FF7 universe.
It's because the naming convention they used for FF7 with Remake is more of a reimagining/pseudo-sequel.
It's still not all that difficult to get your hands on a moddable Switch, just a bit expensive. The problem with modding the Switch though, while it's generally easy to do so, it requires upkeep, and you need to understand what you're doing. Updating both the firmware and custom firmware, bootloaders, keeping sigpatches up to date, troubleshooting if anything gets corrupted, etc.
I would imagine the Switch successor will probably use AI upscaling when docked.
They're on Game Pass. MS is trying very hard to improve sales in Japan, and need more jrpgs to do that.

It's possible it's coming to Switch as well, and Nintendo wants to announce it themselves during a Direct, but who knows.
If they really want to shake Sonic up, make an absolutely huge, 2D Sonic Metroidvania. Sega has been failing with 3D Sonic titles for almost 25 years now.
I think I'm pretty burnt out on open-world games, unless they're bringing something different to the table, like Elden Ring. I'll probably download it on Game Pass, but I can't really see myself getting into it. Now that I think about it, I've pretty much just been playing Japanese-developed single player games lately xD

Both consoles have been slacking hard with exclusive titles since launch. I will definitely be buying a PS5 when Ragnarok comes out, but that still doesn't have a release date. We're also going to be waiting a long time for FFXVI and RE4 Remake. Very possible both get delayed.

MS must have thrown some big bucks at Atlus, like they have been at everything else lately lol. MS is really, really wanting to push into Japanese markets, and needs more JRPGs. Maybe we'll see a Nintendo announcement as well during the next big Direct, hopefully this month? They have been working together already with the SMT series for a long time.
Royal is a huge improvement over the base game. Most of the textures, lighting and character models are updated, so the game looks significantly better. Lots of balance changes, more actions per day you can complete, new characters, whole new section of story, etc. Absolutely worth buying again.
I'd say since X lol. And even then, IX was still both the pinnacle and swan song of the entire series.
The Series S is still miles ahead of base last-gen hardware. Same CPU as Series X, SSD, etc.
Yeah, I'd like to play this, but I definitely will not be paying $70 for a game I've beaten more than once already. I'll jump at $35.99.
