Any Nintendo published games on PC, even those not developed by them, would be a huge change for the company.
It depends on what you're looking for and enjoy about a gaming experience. Some of the things that people say they hate about BotW are the exact things that I absolutely loved about the game. Some people claim it's empty; I loved the atmosphere, the exploration and vibes, just finding small things, collecting bugs and plants, wondering about the lore. Not in years did I explore in a game like that just for the sake of seeing what was there, not even caring if I found anything at all. ...
Hardware definitely isn't the problem with this game. It's a mix of Game Freak being completely inept with 3D development, and horribly strict release windows from Pokemon Company so they can push out all their other rushed crap, like movies, TCG expansions, merchandise, etc, which also all have terrible quality control issues lately. You can't reasonably compare games like Xenoblade 3 or Metroid Dread with Pokemon Scarlet/Violet, and say it's a problem with hardware that caus...
Not gonna happen lol. Capcom said before they were unable to implement it with the PC release, and I'm sure these versions are probably ports of that. The only MH game that's ever had any semblance of crossplay was 3 Ultimate, between Wii U and 3DS, and even then, that was local multiplayer only over wifi, having to use a separate app on 3DS.
It's a much faster-paced game than World, with wayyy more mobility and speed. Designed for shorter hunts, as it was built for Switch with portable play in mind. With that in mind, don't expect graphics or environments to be anywhere near World's. Rise is a great looking game on Switch, but still not anywhere near World's fidelity, and some people who only played World are probably going to be disappointed if buying on new gen, thinking they're buying a new MH game. Also, R...
You could try Death March difficulty if you haven't already. Playing it on the hardest difficulty transforms the game into a different experience. You're forced to be very careful in combat, and to interact with the systems like obtaining and applying the right oils for enemies, using potions, etc. Way more immersive. With much faster loading times, death is more forgiving now as well.
How many 40+ hour DLCs do you know of with full motion capture, voice acting, etc? The game isn't reinventing the wheel because it's a direct sequel continuing right where the story left off. Yeah, perhaps it's not as novel as the first game, but that was their vision and they executed almost every aspect of the game to the highest level you can reasonably expect from any game studio.
Digital Foundry must be rubbing their hands together right now in anticipation of this one lol.
Maybe if you also used mods, because I believe they worked with one of the primary modders to release this new upgrade.
Anyone that played it on original Xbox one/PS4 and plays the upgrade on a Series X or PS5 is going to notice a significant difference.
You could have bought the game on sale for less than $10 a week ago for the complete version with all dlc, then get a free upgrade. I literally can't think of a better gaming value for someone who owns a new console and hasn't played the game.
Yeah, this is bullshit, considering that Nintendo has been offering no questions asked refunds for the game, which is basically unprecedented from them.
Who would develop that though? Disney and WB aren't really out there making great games with their IP right now lol.
I've always wanted a Nintendo vs Capcom, using sprite artwork like MvC2. It'll never, ever happen, but a man can dream. Ganondorf vs Akuma? Come on now lol.
PC? It never even got performance fixes, let alone a PS4 Pro patch lol. Although we'll probably get a whole Bluepoint remake before a 60 fps patch for PS5.
He didn't say better, he said $$$. Once suits start talking about mobile money, and get a taste of it, you know they will never care about releasing quality games again.
Holy crap, this comment time-traveled straight from 2011 lol.
Alright, Elden Ring is superior in the aspect that it offered a truly unique experience insofar as gameplay and world building/design; every inch you had to claw for progress felt like cutting into another layer of understanding that world, story and lore. Death in Souls games is part of the DNA of the game itself, and not a roadblock to story progress like in GOW. It was fresh, incredible, intriguing and fun. Its secrets and lore also made for a much greater community. I ended up making frie...
Man, I love that phone.
I had a Series X, and I loved the hardware itself. Sold it used when they were impossible to find in stores for enough to buy both a PS5 and Series S. Some people either don't know how or don't trust online retailers with expenses like that, and were apparently more than willing to pay double MSRP for a used console lol. I haven't touched the Xbox in months now, despite having bought over 300 games digital last gen, because there are NO exclusives. I've owned every Xbox consol...
