Forgot to mention, even the NA versions of the games still ran like crap, with framerate issues, colors being off, sounds being off, etc. Terrible from top to bottom. Better off just getting your hands on a Vita, and either buying the PS classics on it or modding it.
Many reasons. One, the presentation was crap, with a horrible UI. Two, the game choice could have been much better. Three, many of those games ran on the PAL versions at slower speeds than they should have. Four, they were using the open source PCSX Re-ARMed emulator, and included little to no menu options. With a keyboard, you can access the options and force the non PAL versions of the game, enable different resolutions, etc. Why not include that as an advertised feature? The whole thing sc...
The cost is higher because flash storage costs more for the publishers than discs, and they don't want to lose profit. Also, Sony didn't want to support their last portable very well at all. It was an interesting device without enough must-have games.
With the exception of Persona 4 Golden; That game is goddam amazing.
Xenoblade Chronicles HD please. For the love of God lol.
I believe it will look and perform much better. BotW was developed for the Wii U, after all. There will be less limitations for them this time.
It depends how those assets are used. Majora's Mask was a vastly different game than OoT, and it used the same assets and engine.
There's still a ton of games to play on it, even if some wouldn't be compatible. Also, 3DS is done.
Let's pretend for a minute that some games won't be compatible. Would be more than $50 off, which might be very attractive to new customers. Docks and joycons are both around 80 bucks each. Anywhere online, you can get the tablet replacement with no accessories for about $100 even. Also, less build materials, including smaller screen meaning lower manufacturing cost. I'd wager it sells for less than $200.
That exact thing is what almost bankrupted Capcom.
Dunno if you've played Vesperia or Symphonia, but those are both fantastic RPGs in the Tales series as well.
In game mechanics should never be an indicator of character power lol. Should be based on personal feats. Game logic makes no sense. In video games people can summon world destroying attacks but can't bypass a door.
What the literal hell are you talking about. It's like asking what she likes to eat for breakfast, what her dog's name was when she was a child, or what her masturbatory habits are. If it's not integral to the story, it does not matter. If people are so controlled by their egos that they define their entire lives on labels, they're the ones with a problem. Perhaps the creator doesn't have it in mind, because he or she doesn't give a crap either. It's like asking if...
Exactly. Jessie's first bomb she makes is too powerful, and AVALANCHE accidentally kills civilians. Cloud was a soldier in the Shinra army. The main characters are all murderers, but God forbid they swear while they're doing it lol.
Never thought I'd see the day. Freaked out a little bit when I saw Duran. Next dream, Terranigma remake xD
Maybe in another lifetime.
That's Square Enix now though, and was Eidos before, not Sony.
Like who? Kratos? Can't really see that fitting.
For sure. I wonder who designed it, and if they'll stick with that aesthetic if they ever move forward with the series, remake or otherwise. I feel like a remake should be a given at this point. Everything else has gotten one lol.
Same as allowing Cloud, Snake, Sonic, Pac-Man, etc. It's great advertisement, and Smash is a huge series.
Let Nintendo develop it, with Playtonic, but Microsoft funds it. And include Nintendo characters as extras, and also have it on Xbox. Greatest platform crossover ever, and everyone wins xD
A man can dream.
We'll know next year when companies show their earnings. Nintendo had a good show though, if you like the franchises they have to offer. Plenty for me to play across all my consoles.
