For sure. Game had far more zombies, wider areas, more ammo to find, dodge mechanics, and Tyrant with a rocket launcher lol.
First two games are gems. Day one if there was ever a remake.
That's the point though; The series is a comedy and he's a gag hero. Most of his biggest problems come from mundane or unfortunate life situations, while world ending monsters could be destroyed by a slap from him.
None of it is supposed to be taken seriously.
So did many games from that era, especially gameboy games. Link's Awakening was a crowning achievement for the console, and you could completely break it by accessing the map in between scrolling through the overworld. Very easy, very broken. I'd say, good luck finding any Gameboy game that isn't broken lol.
If you pirate a game and really enjoy it, and feel like you should have paid for it, buy a copy for a friend or family member so they can experience it too.
FFX could have had a fantastic prequel following their initial journey.
Love 6, hate 12 lol. 9 my favorite by far.
Great games, niche market. Very stylistically Japanese action games. Not the most popular market, but they're really good at what they do.
Well, Nintendo was the only company that wanted to fund those games, so the series would have been long dead now otherwise. Also, the development of those titles with better graphics, as you're wishing, could very likely have pushed production costs far outside of any profibility considering how niche Bayonetta is. Platinum games are not blockbuster sellers.
Emulation is not diffictult at all, but near-perfect emulation is very, very difficult. Most emulators until recently work on high level emulation, which is basically hacking the game into working. It's acceptable for most, but not acceptable in the form as licensing and selling a product. There can be sound, visual and memory problems which could be disastrous if not tested properly. Cycle accurate emulation, which means emulating the hardware to a 99.99 percent degree, even on an SNES e...
I bought Witcher 3 on launch day. Came with a jacket sleeve, full illustrated manual, metal Keychain, a poster of the map, a sticker book and a thank you note for purchasing the game. Then they proceeded to give free dlc and patch the game for months afterward. I've still yet to see a developer do so well by their fans like that.
I'd buy a sequel day one.
E3 is nothing more than tradition at this point, we gotta let go. It's been diminishing for years.
I know quite a few people who really want a Switch, but it's just not in their budget right now. After a significant price drop (will happen eventually), it's going to keep selling for years. Great for the industry as a whole. We'll get so many more great games to play that would never have existed if the Switch failed.
Death Stranding is very odd, but it makes sense. Basically humans got so technologically advanced that they were utilizing time and multiple dimensions themselves for tech, and broke reality in the process. One really resilient guy is trying to bring everyone back into a network.
Funny thing is, I can play psx games on my Switch!
. Edit, response to wrong article.
Weird, I've been gaming as long as I can remember (in my 30s), on all consoles and PC, and BotW is on my list of greatest games I've ever played. It's not a small list, but it's near the top.
No one has been talking about MHW: Iceborne. It's an expansion, but it's basically an Ultimate version of the game. Improved damn near everything, and the new area and rank could have been their own game.
Huge difference between platformers like Mario/Sonic and a game like Hollow Knight/Ori/Castlevania/ Timespinner, etc.
