And Watch Dogs doesn't compare at all to any game that properly takes advantage of PS4. It was downgraded on every system and unoptimized on PC, I'm sure that this transferred to consoles to a degree as well.
PlanetSide 2 is supposedly running 1080p/60fps and has max settings on PS4. I am sure this is a more appropriate game to compare since it wasn't gimped on any platform and is being properly optimized.

Can't wait. Love how they announced three more than they said they were :p
Rewatch it again. Don't miss the ending.
Terrible argument.
It's supposed to be a competitive fighter game. Any random chances of being disqualified because you were that unlucky to trip are ridiculous and wouldn't be a problem in sports if they could control it. In video games they can control it, and now they are removing it because they didn't realize how bad of an idea it is. It's like playing chess where all the rules are set and then they decide to add a 1/100 chance per turn that whoever you ...
Gun focused characters aren't quite as easy to balance. I could see a Resistance monster make an appearance either as a playable character or have a stage where it's one of the giant monsters in the background.
Did you watch the reveal trailer? It hinted at the story between Heihachi and Jin's anger over his mothers death that is Heihachi's doing. It was a reveal trailer. It's not meant to show much.

I'm just glad it's not the generic stomp/thump noise and silence, then a deep siren, you see a clip, stomp noise, screen...
It was going to be announced tonight anyways.

Leaks seemingly tend to actually build more excitement, and many "leaks" are actually on purpose for that reason. It doesn't just get people to notice something, but it gets people talking and speculating about what it could be.
I think the leak was good. ...
Don't be so.. picky!
@True_Samurai
Sony has always told customer sales numbers. Microsoft always talks shipped to retail numbers, for hardware anyways.
PS3 has been selling much faster than 360 since launch. 360 had a 16 month headstart and it still didn't have a good hold on the market. PS3 sold far more quickly and slowly closed in on 360 sales. Last year PS3 was at 77 million. 360 was 76 million.
@AndrewLB
A poor recording of the pre-release ShadowFall footage? That's just an unfair comparison.

Proceduraly generated is like the terrain in voxel based games when you get closer to new areas it generates new areas as far as the game allows you to.
Randomly generated is, in this case, taking all the premade shirts, jackets, pants, shorts, shoes, flip-flops, etcetera, as well as character gender, size, height, and even attitude and randomly picking for all of these categories to piece together a random character, which a lot of games allow you to do with your single pla...
This argument is so stupid. Nah, duh. We don't need to hear common sense. We aren't talking about the "making of" process.
Pfft, PC's didn't make it.. Graphics cards, processors, RAM, Hard Drives, etcetera made it! Not! Resistors, capacitors, solder, etcetera made it! Not! Silicon, aluminum, magnesium, copper, zinc, etcetera made it! Not! It's gotta be pixels. Can't see anything without looking at pixels! /s
The PS4 is equal to the 7850, actually a little better, in raw performance. And, due to an all around gaming designed architecture it will get better, and because of optimization it will get potentially substantially higher results.

John Carmack actually says you need a PC with twice the graphical performance to get the same results as what th...
"Full HD" is a marketing term. It doesn't actually define 1080p. If something is HD then it is HD. That's it. There is no "sub-HD" just because something isn't as high resolution as something else. 720p is HD. "4K" coming out doesn't make 1080p "sub-HD". Obviously, the pixel clarity is less on lower resolutions.
PC is a whole other platform. Many articles ignore it because it is about the evolution in console technology...
I know racing games will have randomly generated crowds eventually. That would be a lot better for getting rid of the lack of variety crowds tend to have.

Crysis 3 does NOT look better than those. It hardly looks better than Crysis 1. Basically the faces and tessellation make it look better. Everywhere else it looks worse than Crysis 1.
A lot of PS3 exclusives rivaled even some of the best looking games on PC. If you actually saw the Uncharted 4 trailer clearly this wouldn't be a debate right now. It looks better than just about every game, and that is when they haven...
Taking 3 years isn't always the case, and development cycles don't all begin at the same time.

Sony had a Move-like controller planned since early PS2 days.
Sony has had head mounted displays for a long time and has pushed it harder than anyone until Occulus came out.
PSTV is not a ripoff of AppleTV. Lol, what. There have been multimedia boxes before AppleTV, and they are putting the same multimedia functions of their past devices...

If a horror movie has a ton of cliches and stays with the same formulas throughout the movie, like many have, they are generic and likely repetitive. No "opinion" can argue that. It can be a great movie but you can't argue the consistency and originality of content. That is decided by how much variety and how innovative the content is. But, not having variety or originality definitely brings down the contents likeliness to be...
720p to 1080p is very visible on 5 inch phones.
What "variables"? Bad eyesight? 720p to 900p is super visible on my 17.3 inch laptop screen.
720p to 1080p are very visible on any decent size monitor or TV, provided they are quality screens.
