This is ridiculous.. The game is 1080p on PS4 and 720p on PS3, and this comparison GIF isn't even 720p. Of course there isn't a big difference if the pixel density and improved framerate isn't even there to show it.
Not only that, but he took these from Youtube captures. So it has Youtube compression.
Upscaling doesn't actually make it 4k. The visuals would still be 1080p.
The market is actually misusing the term 4k. It is supposed to be 4096 x 2160 but on the consumer level 4k refers to 3840×2160, which is UHD(Ultra High Definition), which is exactly 4 times the pixels of 1080p. Meaning upscaling has absolutely no purpose from 1080p to 4k. 1080p will simply have a 4:1 pixel ratio on a consumer 4k display. It will look just like it does on a regular 1080p TV.
360 was backwards compatible.. You could play it on X360. No argument here. No, they don't sell it anymore, but you can usually obtain a disc from a store or online for cheap.
But, yes. It's stupid that they skip Halo on 360, just like they did on PC, all because they ditch platforms after a couple years. I'm pretty sure that they are going to let 360 slowly die this time since the XBox One is directly competing with PS4 and isn't exactly winning. Before they ...
I'm sure some people said the same thing when 1080p first arrived.
The main issue with single cards is how much RAM they have. NVidia took a while to push the RAM amount while AMD typically always had more RAM in their cards, which made them much better for three monitor setups and higher resolution displays. Now both are basically equal when it comes to RAM configurations so that isn't an issue.
You definitely don't need 3 high end GPU's for ...

A lot of movies are doing 3D and they are very successful. It isn't something every movie production can do without a huge budget, so it isn't something the common movie does. It's not because 3D isn't successful. It's because it's expensive, not just for consumers, but for producers.
3D games weren't prioritized because it takes a lot of tricks and experience to get a game to be good looking while pushing 3D. Now that h...
They aren't even trying anymore. So many generic mobile JRPG's. And, now Breath of Fire, my favorite JRPG, is now going mobile with the sixth game; even though it is a spinoff they are calling it "Breath of Fire 6" when it doesn't even have much relation to the first games other than a few similar character designs and one reoccurring character is announced so far, Nina, who doesn't seem at all like her other forms in the past games, and is heavy fan service along wi...
It's so it isn't just you attacking and healing when you get low the entire time.
Reggie's a secret character. Confirmed.
On topic. Hopefully it does have some kept secret until launch. I hope that the 3DS and Wii U both have all the characters and not any exclusive to either console.
If that were true then it wouldn't even be on the market. And, not being "mainstream" isn't the term to describe something as unsuccessful. Just because something isn't as popular doesn't mean it isn't popular at all.
When I first got into MineCraft, and figured out it had the red/cyan 3D mode, I had no 3D glasses for that, so I cut basic glasses out of plastic that something came packaged in and I colored one lens red, and one lens blue. It did not work at all.. Lol. But, I guess it was fun to try and rig something out of boredom.
Can't wait to use one of these headsets for the first time.
I love Move. I just hate the no analog on the wand controller. I think a slider stick like 3DS would work nicely. I just hate aiming at the sides of the screen just to turn.
I REALLY hope that No Man's Sky has 3D. It would be fantastic to have VR head tracking just to look around the cockpit of your ship but even if it's just 3D it's completely okay. It's mainly about exploration and the beauty of it and having a more immersive way to view things would be an even better experience. Just about every space game may be in a black void yet it's beautiful just to look at everything.
@tee_bag242
Clock speed is not what determines a processors performance, it's one of many factors.
@JBSleek
He just said a valid point. Better looking games, MGSV and InFamous: SS look a lot better and run a lot better than Watchdogs on PS4. Watchdogs was just a mess on everything it launched on and was typical overhyped crap. I'm severely dissapointed in Linus and Luke about that comparison, because it was blatantly obvious they rush...
But, above you asked "With what funding?".
Supposedly, a crowdfund is probably going to happen for a console version later on, and no money from the PC version will be spent on it.
You gave up $5,000? Okay. Only one person on the kickstarter page pledged for the $5,000 tier. Was that you? Or, are you just blatantly lying because of your PC bias, Star Citizen obsession, and negative console campaign?
What is "sub 720p"? Like... Sub-1080p so it is 720p? Or actually lower than 720p?
And, Star Citizen is a space game, meaning less terrain, less models, scenery, etcetera. It has some beautiful graphics, but I mean some. It doesn't actually have as much to render as other games.
PS4 already has some amazing graphics in its games. But, you try to ignore that. You "don't sugercoat crap"? But, you sure do need to cut the crap and stop...
@JBSleek
What? The 48 million isn't enough? The inevitable sales success for the PC version won't be enough?
"Crappy form". "Barely playable framerates". So, what about Star Citizen makes it so beyond console capabilities? Will there be downgrades? Maybe. But, we have games that look about as good already out. Star Citizen doesn't have much scenery, objects, and a lot of the models use flat textures just for something like step...
I still think it's Tarble, if it's any character we are familiar with.
Gohan wouldn't use a scouter. Tarble still uses a scouter when we first see him. It is not hard to believe that Tarble would eventually stay on Earth with his brother, Vegeta, and that would explain the Capsule Corps. jacket.
The only way I would think of Gohan using a scouter is if Raditz got away with kidnapping Gohan and Gohan eventually comes back and changes out of typical...
I can't wait to see some sort of Burnout or Twisted Metal style car destruction.
@JBSleek
Choppy refers to framerate being unstable and fluctuating. Smooth means steady throughout. 30fps is fine as long as it is a smooth 30fps. Obviously, 60fps is better.
Many great games are 30fps throughout. Obviously, they would be better as 60fps if they didn't compromise for it, but that isn't the point.
It's annoying to be mainly a PC gamer and see a lot of one-sided posts knocking consoles for not being as capable as a...

It sure is an "in depth" experience.
