But, the amount of work that goes into single-player is far beyond that of multi-player.
@Ausbo
"Fun". Sure.
But, an actual GOOD storyline. No. They ruined many themes and threw in many action-movie-sequel cliches into it to try and revamp it. Like Halo 4. But, don't think of it as a true Halo game or as a "good" storyline. The multiplayer has become more like Call of Duty.
It's like if Game of Thrones TV series had ended, and then the story is passed onto new writers and they decide to make three seas...
Uh. Depends what you mean by solid.. H4 was plot-holed and overly dramatic. Cortana AI going crazy, all these military people trying to tell Master Chief how to do things when he is beyond more experienced than them, their attempt to try and make him look cooler, adding thrusts to his suit with no explanation about where they came from while he was in cryostasis, a new giant enemy that shortly appears after the events of Halo 3 right where Master Chief happens to be drifting through space, hu...
Penta-sale!
Oh, god no.. The Cell didn't do parallel processing bad whatsoever. It was a master at it. The problem was that this means standard data can't simply be run through and be expected to be efficiently processed. Developers had a learning curve of how to code data to properly take advantage of parallel processing.
Uh. 1080p would be rare on one? Well, so far very few games are doing it, and the ones that are doing it aren't exactly pushing any graphical bars.
@dcbronco
Yes.. They have. They call it parallel processing. The PS3 does it. It's not quite the same but it is a different way to organize the information to process it on multiple SPU's more efficiently.
All the CPU optimization was simply done by the developers in the past. X1 already has most of DX12's features. It's a modified DX11, and DX12 is basically that modified version but transferred to PC.
Oh, god.. The first cor...
Did I say it couldn't? I was saying that the hardware required to emulate must be substantially better than the hardware that is emulated.
And I see you had nothing to say about the added cost to each unit when they throw in extra hardware to achieve smooth emulation.
I've emulated PS2, GameCube, and Wii on my PC. But, to emulate PS3 and 360.. You need hardware about 10x as good just to get it to run decently on native settings. Maybe, not for 360 si...
Witcher 1 was quite linear; Witcher 2 had sorta open environments but not much more than Uncharted and TLoU. The graphics are not quite as good, but are good.
I own Witcher 1 and 2 on PC. I'm not sure what provoked you to announce your biased statements.
Yes. The fans will magically keep some of the worlds most talented game developers from pushing PS4's potential. Confirmed.
They were just providing their honesty, observation, and expertise in the software field, as well as basically saying what Phil Spencer has already talked about. So, you can't exactly call this biased, when it's the truth. Or, do you think they should hype it up and lie about its performance increase so it won't somehow be biased?
...
@Dlacy13g
Well, if you actually knew anything about API's and DirectX you would know they know what they're talking about.
Phil Spencer even commented saying something similar.
It's not at all unrelated. Both systems have API's that use the exact same "to the metal" optimization that DX12 is designed for on PC. Consoles get performance tweaks in updates. That is something that already happens over time. DX12 is only...
It's a whole separate department. All their game developers are already working on games.
Obviously, that would be ideal, but emulating on substantially different hardware than what is being emulated has a much higher performance hit.
And, they generally add hardware to allow emulation, which adds cost to the units, and it really adds up.
This service is not just meant for backwards compatibility but being able to stream it to many types of devices.
That's what 343i did say when they first made the Halo Anniversary.
But, what people consider to be right is their own perception.
People also don't take into account that with Big Boss's experience came many broken bones, fractures, his eye, dislocated joints, the rock lodged in his skull in Phantom Pain, etcetera. There's so much ridiculous damage to his body and he is still the top soldier of his time.
I agree heavily that they would be great with Sony and Nintendo, but other likely buyers could be Koei, Namco Bandai, and Konami.
If Sony or Nintendo buy them I have a hunch that Breath of Fire might make a comeback to try and have more RPG's in their library of games.
That seems plausible.
Tarble, Vegeta's young brother, looks a lot like this as well. This looks like his older self.
http://static.comicvine.com...
Tarble coming to Earth to be with Vegeta is believable and that explains the Capsule Corp. jacket.
But, then the screenshots show him fighting in Frieza Saga and other timelines...
@gamer1138
Clearly, you don't get it..
This conversation that Reeze started was him referencing the controversy of Microsoft's XBox One reveal compared to Sony's 2014 e3 Press Conference. He's comparing an entire conference talking about TV to 20 minutes of time that Sony sets aside every year to talk of non-gaming news. This is what this specific conversation is about.
Uh, no one cares about your review of Sony's reveal...
@gamer1138
And, people keep comparing Microsoft's reveal that heavily focused on TV to Sony's e3. We aren't comparing their e3 conferences or confusing MS's e3. I specifically was talking about the XBox One console reveal that was focused almost entirely on TV and apps, and when they mentioned Halo they talked about a TV show for it.
Oh, MS screwed up, focused on TV for a whole show, and then decided to not talk about it at e3 and now people l...
@Reeze
It's not an opinion to make unfair accusations. Calling people hypocrites for completely different scenarios.
If Sony had focused an entire show on TV you know that people wouldn't be happy with that. Just stop.
Lol.
It's all but been confirmed for a US release. It has English in the trailers, was first shown to an American audience, and it is F2P and they have the resources for an international game, so, clearly they would expand its market so millions more users would be able to play.
