I'd be down if the writers do it well and I'd like to see a better rendition of Desmond's arc and not kill him off

Because you see those results in game. Black levels are not just the color black. When you use a good display you will immediately notice grey banding and backlight bleed making what should be very dark colors a washed out dark grey. I guarantee that most people judged the display in a game before assuming that the setting values were immediately gonna be bad results. Also, I'm not on the band wagon yet of thinking it's a bad display because I've only booted up Risk of Rain and MK...

I'm so confused about this entire argument because this has been a thing since ps3 and 360. This at least solidifies us getting a game card for the game and not a code in the box to lock it to our account and the card being an extra layer of security for the dev that makes us unable to sell it or share it.

That's the thing. They said they did not aim to take games away from the competition with the acquisitions and that they weren't taking games away from PlayStation. But then they try to get Sony to sign a 10 year deal just to show to a court that they aren't keeping games away. Sony saw this as a tactic to make their acquisitions look like good faith but in reality they don't need to sign that 10 year contract. They just gotta keep developing games for the console. Then they s...

Holy cow. Even Balatro? Have you actually played it? Some just stay stuck on the idea that they must keep everything on death or game over. It's literally no different from fighter games, super mario, and so mamy games where once you die you restart with unlockables rather than a set character with a gear of inventory. Except all a souls like does is restart you at a different point of the level without your souls, blood echoes, etcetera and maybe recover a so...

The original did so of course it would. But night time wasn't brownish grey. The brightness goes down with the sun but not all that color.

If it were that quick to release I think we would have an ESRB rating leak a long time ago

Actually, if you're overlaying yourself on top of your game stream you've not changed anything bandwidth wise.

If it just had a good hoard mode that would have been phenomenal. Co-op in sequels would probably have been like a better Remnant. Such a missed opportunity cause the world building was extremely good and the story was tight.

I have been wanting a KillZone with Battlefield style maps and destruction. I think that suits KillZone very well and is a part of the shooter market we are missing.

I'm quite excited with this and hope it's true. I hope that they have extremely good implementations of any upscaling and frame generation methods. I love my Steam Deck for emulation but haven't really enjoyed PC gaming on it that much.

No.. Phil was in charge of European studios and Kinect implementation since 2008. Those European studios he was in charge of were then full time Kinect developers as he was now in charge of all XBox game studios in 2010. This is why game quality has sucked ever since he was in charge and directly why the legendary Lionhead and the actual Rare devs are not there anymore. Phil is actually more to blame than anyone for the bad game quality and the Kinect push. And especially for the terrible XBo...

Ah yes. Because internal studios never get shut down, disbanded, or cut in half when they don't perform. We know that you know this and a lot of counter arguments that are quite factual. You're so boring by intentionally disregarding valid points that are brought up. Then you'll probably reply asking me to pain stakingly go through and show all the evidence of you being told a combination of factual contrary or exceptionally strong contrary based on patterns and company histories ...

We have good compression algorithms now. It wouldn't become that much bigger from HD textures. There were a couple games back in the day that had official HD texture packs as an optional download. It normally is a few gigs, just like these modded HD texture packs tend to be for newer games.

I only use disc drives for Bluray movies really. Not so much for games unless it's a really nice physical edition

I don't hear any of the people complaining about the skins for D4 saying they agree with Street Fighter skin prices. Not everyone that complains needs to join the entire brigade and picket the entire act of something. Some are just affected more personally from the particular media that they are into.

D4 is a much larger fanbase and also just released. Of course you're seeing these articles. And, SF6 did get criticism, but the main reason it probably didn't is ...

The gaming world has been starved of a geuinely good and true RPG built with passion. This is what the big developers think they need to stray away from because it's "risky" when the reason their games haven't performed well is they cut corners and don't get creative with it.

A few clicks is supposedly well hidden and out of view? You think users aren't actually navigating their menus aside from going straight to their recent game?
