h.264. That's good. Hopefully you can download other codecs as well on it; as it stands now, I'll be able to play all of my anime but that in .mkv and .ogg formats, which isn't too large a percentage of it.
Anyone can (though I don't know why they WOULD) go back through my posts for the past months and see that Silent Bomber was one of the four games I REALLY wanted for download. Now I just need Tomba! 2, Bust A Groove, and Ehrgeiz. And maybe Brave Fencer Musashi, just to be greedy :)
Sadly, I don't own, and have not plans to buy (can't stand hand-helds) a PSP, so I'll have to wait until '07 to actually play these games. But good news none-the-less.
Yeah, that's where the mix-up came from. The bad guys in XXX were called "Anarchy 99," and hearing "Anarchy Club" sounded familiar and just made me immediately think of that song instead of "Behind the Mask."
The way I've always understood it:
Intelligent - how nimbly you can think, the ability to be creative or figure things out; think a hurdler
Smart - how fast you can think and come to a conclusion or answer; think sprinter
Knowledgeable - how much you've learned, retained, and know; a sheer wealth of knowledge; think marathon runner
Never mind :P Went through my library, and realized I recognized Anarchy Club because Behind the Mask was one of the songs I downloaded after plaing it on the first GH.
LOL, I've never seen that commercial before. As soon as it started, I got hyped (love the song "Jacques Your Mody (Make Me Sweat!)" by Les Rhythmes Digitales.
Anyways, I agree that I enjoyed sitting through the commercials. Although I'll agree that the ps3 most likely can't generate every single snow flake differently (at least, not while doing other processing stuff as well), and the the sunflowers weren't proportionate, you have to realize that it's a COMMERCIAL, ...
Cool. As per usual, I don't know who any of these groups are, aside from the ever-present Freezepop. Didn't Anarchy Club make that "Bang Bang" song, Feur something-or-other?
And shouldn't this be listed under Playstation 2 as well?
I think it's being developed on PS3 and then ported to 360.
I believe he very clearly indicated that the "only" meant that only the PS3 could combine the graphics and control scheme of the game; not that the PS3's CPU was more powerful. The closest he came to knocking 360 was saying that it had "some HD capabilities." Seeing as no one seems to really know what those capablities are, I think you're reading too much into things.
All they've ever shown of the game is that one level attacking the bridge-like structure. I'm assuming that the entirity of the game will involve missions of one sort or another revolving around you riding your dragon and killing things; that's the point of the whole game. I mean, that's how any flight game usually works.
Wikipedia links to the source right after they make that statement.

7th paragraph from the bottom of the page.
That's a pretty good list there; I never played ZOE 2 though. So, you're really not going to play them because the PS3 might not make them look better than they already do?
If it's an issue, there will undoubtedly be a third-part controller that uses batteries just the way you'd like. I have never bought a Sony controller, besides the one that came with my system, because I prefer larger controllers. But that aside, you can send the controller in to have the battery replaced, although how much it'll cost they haven't said. I've had my iPod for a year now, and have experienced no battery problems, and that thing is running non-stop whenever I leave the house o...
Six. SIX batteries caught fire. Millions were recalled to ensure that no one else's did, which doesn't imply that millions would have. Six.
Sony stated that you can also use cards that you purchase in store to buy stuff, just like iTunes or Virgin Mobile or 360, etc.
I think EA's SKATE is supposed to provide a more realistic, technical feel to it.
That sounds like an argument of graphics over gameplay. If you like Xbox's games better, and the ones you want to pick up are on the BC list, then I'd suggest going with that console. If you like PS2 games better, then PS3 seems the answer. "How they look" shouldn't (my opinion, of course) be THAT big a factor; most of the games don't look horrible by any means, so it will still be an enjoyable experience. What games from the last generation really piqued your interest?
Does anyone remember how long a play time they said you'll get out of a single charge? I think it was something around 30 hours, but then again, this is pulling from memory here. Not having the rumble (sadly) will undoubtedly extend the battery life of the controller. Just hook it back in every day or two after playing, and you should be fine, I think.
Glad to see some like-minded people :-)
176 gigs of anime that I can now watch on my 30 inch tv, isntead of my 17 inc pc monitor. Can't wait. And I can watch Red vs. Blue on tv now (no, I don't buy the dvds, but I am a sponsor), or all the Home Movies episodes I have. Fun fun fun.
It's just kind of a "perks" thing I guess, assuring those people that intend for it to be some sort of "media center," that it will accept all forms of media that they have. I've got 178 gigs of anime that I've always had to watch on my pc monitor. If I wanted to watch it on a tv, I'd have to burn 4 episodes to a DVD and then watch it, and hope that it came out formatted properly. This way, I can just send any file over and view it on my widescreen tv instead. It's by ...
