The load times were about 12 seconds, so it all depends on your definition of bad.

The lady says in the video that you can use a bluetooth keyboard, and I'd assume, mouse.

I've been holding off on this and MI3 so that I can get the Blu-Ray versions. If they end up too expensive, Netflix thankfully will send you Blu-Ray and HD-DVD versions of movies at no extra charge, which is how I usually watch new releases anyways :)

His boost. You have that boost meter in the lower left of the screen. There's an unlimited supply of boost, but if you push it and use it when the meter gets into the red, the engine will explode.

That's what I intend to do. For example, I have the first 2 Xmen and Mission Impossibles on DVD, but I'm going to get the third movies of each trilogy in HD.

Dunno, I've been wondering the same thing for a while. They might just be holding off on the Europe/NA sales for Europe's launch or until a larger isntall base is present. Other than that, there's no logical reason to release the game 3-4 months earlier.

I doubt Killzone's coming out next year; especially since there hasn't been a single bit of word on it in almost 2 years now. Then again, perhaps they're just laying low. And I don't see the "Naught Dog Untitled Project" on the list; that's a title I've been looking forward to, given how little info was released. Hopefully it and 8 Days can live up to their respective trailers.

Man, titles like this scare the bageezus out of me: Playstation 3 GAMES Revision is much different than Playstation 3 revision. Anyways, Fight Night's been pushed back to early december, which sucks.

Heavy Rain's now 3rd quarter '08, but I'm willing to wait as long as it takes for that. Project Offset's sometime 2007, which means it IS still being made for ps3 :). Stuntman 2, new Ratchet and Clank, new Jak and Daxter, new Soul Calibur, new Guitar Hero, DMC 4, and new GRADIUS!! ...

OK, someone disagrees with that, I guess . . .

Here's a link to the specs of the system if that helps clarify things. It's highlighted in red.

According to the specs on their website, it's 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi

Doesn't "Not Currently" imply "In the future/somewhere down the line?" They've always said everything would be upgradeable, and this seems like the silliest thing in the world to not be able to integrate.

Where I live (Virginia), Tech TV/G4 TV was moved from part of the basic package to a premium tier, which I pay an extra $2 a month for (extra sports, news and science channels too; it's a good value).

I agree, the network's nothing like what it was back in the ZD Net days. It used to be about information and technology; now, like you said, it's innuendo and double entendres and glitz and glamour.

*sigh* I miss the original Screensavers with Leo and Patrick. How it evolved into Attack of the Show is beyond me. Can't complain about Olivia though :) Anyways, I really respect Leo. As far as the system being a bust if it doesn't come out with great exclusive games; I couldn't agree more. The whole reason I prefer PS to Xbox is because I think the system is graced with better games, "better" being games I prefer to play. If this weren't the case, then I'd have little reason...

Like I said; it's not meant to suggest the value of one console over another. It's just that he said that Halo's use of this feature was "bringing new frontiers" to gameplay. Most people around here seem to get hung up over who did what first and innovation and stuff. I just wanted to clarify that Halo 3 was not the first product announced to do this. And as the last line stated, PS3 wasn't the first system to do it, as I think one of 360's NBA titles lets you upload and share r...

I by no means am trying to start a console skirmish here; I promise you. I just wanted to point out that during E3, they'd pointed out the PS3's ability to record and send gameplay.

Regardless of who announces or implements it first, it's definitely an interesting and cool feature. Can't you do this in one of 360's NBA games?

Yeah; I love being a beta-tester. Sadly, I keep missing out on announcements, so I've only participated in 3: Killzone Online, Ratchet and Clank: Deadlocked, and GT4 Online.

I think they've already stated that pulling back pre-snap will cause the screen to jerk back a little, performing a fake snap.

This is the one game I'd actually be willing to pay to play online, if the experience is as epic and involved as they intend to make it. Hopefully it'll come out on all consoles; it WAS previously announced for the standard "all major next gen consoles" thing, and was even featured in PSM a little while ago, which their (Project Offset's) site encouraged viewers to go read. I'd hope that that would indicate a PS3 version being in the works; sucks that there's been no word lately. ...

I never said I didn't buy anime as well. I have an extensive DVD collection too; most of what's on my computer I can't buy in stores here. When they do release stateside, I get them.
