No God of War 2 (unless he's specifically focusing on next-gen games) and no Assassin's Creed on there either. 2 titles that I'd think would be in the top 20 of a lot of people.
I believe the 360 version is set to get leaderboards of some sort, a la Guitar Hero 2. No direct playing, though.
I remember seeing pics from this game a long time ago, and being utterly floored by them. There was this one with a pick-up truck that was as real as it can get. Happy to see they're still working on this game, but doubt I'll be playing it if it's really open-ended. I've never been a fan of sandbox gameplay (looking at you GTA).
Been then again, you can't judge a game merely on its genre.
EDIT: Here's the pic I was talking about
But not likely.
That's actually a pretty good idea. I wonder how deep they can go with implementing it. For example, can you personally modify your "home?" Change the look of it, etc. And anyone who's played NFL 2k5 knows how addicting pimping out one's crib can be.
I'm more of an Eddie Izzard fan.
Tea and Cake or Death!
I want Silent Bomber. Tomba! 2. Brave Fencer Musashi. And maybe Bust-A-Groove.
Guitar Hero technically doesn't. I think as long as they have achievement points, the game can be made. And both have leaderboards, I believe, which may count as "online" in their eyes; not sure.
The model I use is the H350 ( http://reviews.cnet.com/Mot...
Got it really cheap during Black Friday, and it does the job well. It's only about 2 inches long, and as a bonus, I can use it with my phone, if I'd ever want to for some reason.
As far as I know, any Bluetooth headset will work. Mine's picked up just fine by the system.
Sounds like what I'm going through now. Just bought LUMINES Plus for PS2 yesterday, and I can't get the music out of my head. It's like acoustical crack.
Loco Roco, I believe. You'd have to think they're bringing it over eventually.
That very last scene, with the camera pulling back, was all I needed to see. I can't wait to get my hands on this game (mine's paid off to); just a few more weeks. And I can't wait to see what happens with the next-gen sequel as well. March is gonna be big, as the first-party onslaught commences.
Keeping my fingers corssed with this one. The first Stuntman is one of the few games I've ever been truly disappointed in. I'd had such high expectations for it, and the release was just horrendous. Excessively long load times (even when restarting a scene) were the worst part, but the entire package was really at fault. I'm hoping this one greatly improves on the mechanics of everything, because as with the first, it has the potential to be such a great game.
My second favorite book series EVER, and the movie comes out this December. I'm surprised to hear that the game's actually coming out on next gen platforms as well though. Here's hoping SEGA does the story justice.
Game looks like it's coming along nicely, and should be a nice inclusion into anyone's library. But I have to wonder if I'm the only one out there who's gotten tired of all these gritty, violent games. Everything coming out is about feeling the intensity of the kill and stuff.
Says the guy looking forward to God of War 2 and Assassin's Creed ...
Anyways, I hope they manage to balance the use of that boomerang doohickey. Long distance attacks are always kind ...
By no means lame. For watching, I had the displeasure of finding out what happens with the credits :( And when I got the the fourth evolution, I already knew what its ability was. They spoiled the heck out of it.
I agree, that was quite the rant there, but I guess he just feels passionately about his definition of a game. He just seems unable to differentiate absolutes from opinions. Everyone else there seemed to really appreciate flOw but him.
And I love the Chipotle at the end. Yum :)
I guess it's value depends on how you play it. You can just barrel through, as most reviewers seem to have done, and beat the game quickly. When I played last night, I spent just over 2 and a half hours to get to the third organism form. Am I bad at the game? No. I just take my time playing it, I guess. It's not a game where you rack up combos or high-scores. But it's fun, if you allow yourself to enjoy it knowing that. There's no real "win," no real competitiveness, which m...
If I'm not mistaken, Virtua Fighter 5 has you move via the directional pad, which is digital, not analog.
