See, now this sounds new and DIFFERENT, which is good. Seems like a mix of Poseidon + Die Hard - guns + Michael Crichton's PREY (great book, btw).

Look forward to hearing more about this.

Ratchet would be anohter game with "known pedigree and built in audience" that I'd add to the list.

Awesome; I'd FINALLY get to play this precious gem. Assuming they release it on the US store, of course.

The menu functions for Home are designed to look like a virtual PSP. You don't actually use a real PSP when in HOME, although that may be an integration they're working on.

MGS4 and Star Wars ARE on the list, guys. There's a link to continue to part 2 on the last page. GT5 is not, as well as the already noted Heavenly Sword and LAIR.

I can't believe how annoying those things were! Not because they weren't interesting to do, but because there was no counter for how many songs you'd selected. Picking thirty out of, what, 80 or so?, is bad enough, but when you've accidentally selected 32 or 28, it's a pain having to go back and count.

Got mine too. Here's hoping.

Cool I guess. I'd feel more comfortable just using an enclosed external drive (although reluctant to have cable hanging out the front all the time). I'm one of those people who kind of cringes at the thought of modding systems. My computer? Sure. But I've never tried messing with a console.

And who doesn't love Muse?

I've always said this is the one game on the horizon that I'd be forced to buy a 360 so that I might play it, so long as they meet their initial ambition of epic, plot-based online play.

I think that's the unnecessary jabbing that he was referring to. There's no reason to take shots at the other owners.

Well, if they'd believed one larger than 60 gigs was necessary, they certainly wouldn't have released the 20gig model. It all depends on how much media you intend to store on the console. There's no one size that's going to make every user happy, which is why the option to pick the size you want at a competitive price is a good one. I'd have gotten the 20 gig model myself if it'd just come with wi-fi. I knew one way or another, I'd be getting a larger hard drive eventually.

I may be the only person on planet Earth who HATES the crash mode in these games; that and the burning laps. But the racing is insanely fun, and Road Rage one of the most satisfying game modes ever made. Looking forward to the new release.

That's how I initially got most of my stuff on there in the first place; via my 250gig external drive. Thing is, I don't like periphs. especially since the drive has to attach at the front. I'd rather just place one inside and be done with it, and not have to worry about save locations, etc. Also, HOME's media streaming feature may not work with data from an external drive source. It would be more bang for your buck going that route though.

I agree that the size for some may be too small. I have about 9 gigs left on my 60 gig model, and that's with me taking it easy on bringing over video since they have to be in mp4 at the moment. The second they patch it to play .avi and .wmv, I'm going out to get a larger hard drive. I'd rather watch my anime on my tv than my pc monitor.

Thing is, for the most part, if I get a larger hard drive, I'd undoubtedly get a better deal by going out and buying whatever size I feel I...

I agree with him that that's more of what we need in games. It is because of the immersion and emotional attachment through gameplay that Indigo Prophecy and SotC are such significant games in my eyes.

Being a guy with big hands, I'm probably one of the few people that LIKED the original Xbox1 controller the best. I was the only one of my friends who'd even touch it, but it just felt comfortable, and to this day I hate using the smaller Xbox versions. I had PS1, PS2, and now PS3 though, so the Sony controller feels familiar in my hands. And I liked it better than Xbox's because the four shoulder buttons made more sense (to me) than having to contort my thumb to find the black and white b...

I thought the 360 version was just going to have online leaderboards? Was there more?

6880d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Because they're songs they've already made and have planned out the gameplay for, I can see that being high. But if it were new ones, I don't think $2 is too far over. I mean, $1 to $1.50 would of course be much nicer, but if it were new, you'd have to factor in the cost of actually getting the rights to use the song, paying whoever plays the cover of it, designing the performance of it, and making it playable on all the difficulty levels. I think all of that would be worth more than a doll...

I don't own a 360, so forgive my ignorance in the matter. How much is 500 points in cash?

6880d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Lol, my cable bill's $157 a month. I'd be scared if ANY kind of gaming service came close to that :P
