Very true. I was astounded that they criticized Killzone 2's lighting in the article. Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 have some of the best lighting this generation.

This is one of the few games that I will happily buy DLC for. It's a shame about the co-op. I really would like more levels (3 seems like too few, in my opinion). But new multiplayer maps and modes sound great to me. Naughty Dog doesn't do things halfway, and they deserve to be rewarded for all their hard work.
Well, I guess this means that my PS3 that has been fixed twice is, in fact, the very one I bought. Good to know. This is probably because both times it was the BD drive and it was sent to a third party repair company through my in-store warranty.

I didn't like many of the design decisions Insomniac chose with R2. I missed the old weapon wheel. I missed the old health bar. I hated the main antagonist and thought they ruined what made Angels so awesome. I missed the narrator, I didn't like Hale as much. Some of my favorite enemies were MIA or very rare. It's smaller, lighter. In my opinion, the controls look more comfortable. You don't have to carry UMD's around with you. It has that cool pause feature. 16 Gb of internal memory compared to 32(MEGA-BYTES!). And who doesn't like sliding screens? Bluetooth.
For me, the price is the only real deterrent, really.
I plan on trying to get my hands on a display model when I go to pick up Uncharted 2. If I don't like the way it feels, I'll go with the 3000.

EDIT: That buggy-ness is not Uncharted's fault. It's because of the new firmware, apparently. Have you updated to 3.01? It may also be related to the Slim for some reason, as my version of Uncharted ran just fine on 3.00.

Did you ever think that maybe the reason they have an exclusive review in the first place is because they are more likely to rate it higher? Do you remember the Arkham Asylum fiasco? If the site's score wasn't above a nine, it would have to wait until the embargo lifted.
It doesn't mean the sites aren't being honest. Maybe exclusive reviewers just tend to have higher, honest opinions of the game?

NCAA football has a real-time weather system. It's not perfect, but it's still pretty cool. I think it just goes by forecasts though, not actual real-time weather.
