I hate the bloom and DOF effects in Heavy Rain. They look unnatural and remind me of UE games (such as Gears and ME).
To me, Uncharted 2 looks a lot better. Not only in the detail, but also in the natural-ness of everything. The lighting is perfect and nothing looks out of place. I can't say the same for Heavy Rain. I'm excited for it, but visually, I'm unimpressed.
In my opinion, Uncharted 2 looks much much better.
PS3 is hooked up to my 46" HDTV in my Den. X360 is hooked up to my 26" SDTV in my room.
All games should be able to be played in both definitions. Acting like this is somehow the consumers' fault is just plain ignorance.
I've yet to play Mass Effect 2, but if I can't read the writing, I won't be happy. Mass Effect is legible, though not easily, so I don't have high hopes for ME2. What a shame.

They're two different games. I beat Uncharted 2 within a week. I've had Mass Effect since Christmas and I've only been to Feros(?). It's apples and oranges. I think Uncharted 2 is a much more polished...

Ironically enough, MOST X360 haven't bought Halo 3 either. Or any game on 360. Most PS3 owners haven't bought any game on PS3. And most PC owners haven't bought Crysis or any game on PC.

One area where the PS3 has a huge advantage over Xbox 360 is calculations. The Cell is incredible at calculations, that's why it's used for scientific purposes. MAG has a lot of calculations going on at once.
Now I'm not saying it's entirely impossible on X360, but there's a disadvantage right away. I also believe there are certain Xbox LIVE regulations that wouldn't allow a game like MAG, but I could be mistaken.

Personally, I think if a series uses a certain style for their boxart, they should try to stick close to it. GOW, GOWII, GOW: COO all have a similar syle, at least here in the US. I honestly don't know what the PAL versions look like, but I'm fairly certain they don't look anything like this.
For that reason, I prefer the rumored US version, which continues with the similar style.
