It's comments like this that make this a rent and not a buy for me. Or at the very least, I'm buying it used.
I won't support devs like this.
"The 'Lego' games"
You know someone is stretching when this is part of their list of great games on a console.
I've actually been thinking about how to go about making a train level that's similar to the one in Uncharted 2. Not a direct rip-off or anything, but something with a similar epicness about it. I have a few ideas, but if I'm going to do it, I want it to turn out well.
Feel free to try something similar, I want to see how others would approach this.
Where is the review?
Anyone wonder if these sites are playing with the original voice actors or dubs? I can't imagine Uncharted without Nolan North (or the rest of the crew).
Some things I learned from this review:
Don't watch the Behind the Scenes videos until you've beaten the game, as they contain spoilers.
"Externally, it is a full ten value."
I think that means more than the actual score given. Basically he's saying the game is of the highest qual...
I saw it at my GameStop for $20, but didn't buy it. Seemed quite expensive at the time. Haha. Hopefully, I'll get lucky and there will be another one there soon.
"I wasn't a big fan of the first game..." Comes to mind. Haha.
"Forza features better graphics"
You must be playing Forza 4.
"captured noise from the actual vehicle"
I hate to break it to you, but GT has been doing this for years. They even did it for the PSP game.
Can't you accept that they'll both be good games?
There should only be one controller, and it should have an analogue stick. When using two then you would have two analogue sticks. And that way you're not stuck with a useless nun-chuck on games that don't need it. Owning two would allow you to do multiplayer or single player (like the bow and arrow demo).
You could also do FPS games and other games with one controller. Move with the stick (using your thumb), and turn by turning the controller. You could do co-op 3d games (instea...
@cmrbe
Having actually rear-ended someone at 30 mph, I think it's safe to say I have a fair grasp of what "real damage looks like". And I can tell you, my car from that accident had much more damage than the head-on collision where both cars are going 80+. It's preposterous for you to say that people have no idea what kind of damage they could expect from those crashes. It's not about parts flying, or even deformation (for me). Those cars should not be drivable. So, to ...
No you don't. You just can't play them on a PSP Go.
Looks like I'll be using my cousin's PSP to take advantage of this.
Now to decide between Killzone Liberation, Wipeout, Resistance Retribution, LocoRoco, or Patapon. Dang, these are better games than I expected. Too bad there's no God of War: COO. Oh well.
For the RE5 demo, the guy was holding a DualShock 3 and a motion controller. That's a huge design flaw! How could Sony miss that? I don't want to hold a DualShock while using this, I might as well just use the freakin DualShock.
Add a stick before it's too late!
You did not invent it.
These have been up for several days. I didn't post it because there's a lot of parts that are unreadable.
Still a good read, but it would be better if someone put up actual scans. My favorite part was when they talked about their favorite melee moment. It got me way too excited. Haha.
4.5 stars would be a 9. And since I doubt that they do 3/4 stars, they rounded up because it's .5 . Simple math.
@I did not murder him
I hope you're not insinuating that no one remembers Crash Bandicoot or Jak & Daxter, because that would be silly.
I don't have any problem with the review, I expected lower from GameStop, but that's only because in the past they seemed pretty harsh. Halo's not my thing, personally, but I have several friends who will love ODST.
However, I would like to address the comparisons between GT5: Prologue and ODST (Which, by the way, is hypocrisy in and of itself, but that's beside the point). But honestly, you're not giving Prologue credit. GT5:P has at least as much content as ODST, if not more AN...
Different reviewer. The reviewer that reviewed the original is the one who gave it a 10. Unfortunately, this reviewer thought the first game was a 7, so I'm not sure why he was chosen to review this one.
"1.8 - you guys do realize
ghost is being funny? "
That's debatable.
