A quiz on one of Sony's sites intended to educate employees about certain products.
IF Sony quit (big 'if'), I would like to seem them stay in the software business (similar to SEGA). We could still enjoy their awesome games at the very least (assuming they can keep the quality up).
If they quit cold turkey, I'd spend a lot less time playing video games, that's for sure.
The pics are from the official playstation site, how could someone fake that?
You do realize each game has a separate page for each platform, right? The PS3, X360, and PC metacritic scores can all be different for the same game.
PC reviews won't bring down the metacritic averages of the console versions.
D'oh! ^ He beat me to it.
Is it just me, or does Uncharted 2 actually look better than the PC version of this game? From these screens, U2's texture resolution looks much higher, or perhaps they're just better textures. Am I crazy? Maybe it's the outdated engine?
I'm still using the old linksys I used for my PS2. No problems and much much cheaper!
Hmmm. Eurogamer gave Uncharted 2 a 10, and gave MW2 a 9. Maybe they aren't biased after all? Or they're at least getting better?
Too many cries of bias nowadays. Inconsistent? Yes. But bias? Maybe not.
Umm because people disagree? I prefer R1 to the triggers, personally. But the 360 analogue sticks are miles better than but DS3's. However, I don't like the placement of the bumpers on the 360 controller.
It's called personal preference. I don't mind using either one but I'm more at home with a DS3.
But at the end of the day, it just matters which version your friends are getting. Which is why I'm getting this for 360, even though I have the first one on PS3. I know,...
Wow, The Reaper, that was just sad. Look a couple posts above yours and you would see that Limited is the correct setting. And you also claimed he didn't have a PS3 for asking a valid question. Geez.
To answer the question, basically, no two HD TV's are identical. You need to find the settings that look best with your set up. Sony most likely set the defaults to look best on the majority of sets, which are SD. If you don't want to go through the trouble, you don't have to, but there...
Wow that guy really sucks. I can forgive the aiming going all over the place because the Wiimote, but the least he can do is follow basic instructions.
The graphics look great though.
And they say PC gaming is better than console gaming... ;-)
They completely scrapped the old mission structure. I'm pretty sure they're almost all story-based now.
And since you were complaining about repetitiveness, quantity DOES equal quality. Give it a chance.
"Relentless clearly states that this new project won't be based on either Buzz! or Blue Toad, but is "something that everyone can enjoy and plays to our strengths in the social game genre"."
I'm thinking Motion Wand game. This just screams it.
^ I don't think he was on N4G, must have gotten confused. ;-)
Sweet, I'll probably get this. Seeing as I have GTAIV on PS3, that would mean I have to buy Episodes from Liberty City, right? Or will the DLC work without the disk?
I like Dane Cook and I don't like Family Guy. *gasp*
"What happens to all the PS3 supporters who dissed on Netflix just because it was on the Xbox 360?"
Probably the same thing that happened to the people who ragged on the PS3 for being a movie machine when the original Netflix + Xbox news broke.
^ I know what you mean. It's still hard to believe the little handheld is 4 years old (coming up on 5 years in Japan). As a future PSP owner (Peace Walker is just too hard to pass up), I never dreamed handheld graphics would ever reach this caliber. I still remember when color was a big deal. Haha. The PSP2 is going to be insane.
I believe the 80000 figure refers to the prerendered cutscenes, particularly the close-ups, but that's just a theory.
I see a 70% increase, but maybe that's just me.
Heavy Rain anyone?
If you want some deep games, that's fine. But leave your 'deep' out of my Uncharted, please.
