I absolutely hate m&k. I don't care if it's quicker or more accurate, it doesn't feel right to me. Shooting is not that easy. And keyboards have way too many buttons, I hate having to find the right button that I'm supposed to be pressing.
If I ever had a PC gaming rig, I would most definitely use a controller. It's just a matter of preference for me. Controllers are built for playing video games, after all.
Could someone explain to me why DirectX 10 or 11 doesn't support Windows XP?
I don't know much about this stuff (you don't want to know what kind of hardware my computer runs off of), but it seems like DirectX could be programmed to run on any kind of OS, as long as the hardware is capable.
So is there some kind of politics behind the reason why it won't run on XP? Or is there a legitimate reason? Obviously I mean other than they didn't want to program for ANOTHER OS...
Most cutscenes are pre-rendered, though. Very few games actually render them in real time. Not that it really matters.
Most games that have "in-engine" cutscenes have higher detail character models than when you're playing, also.
It's quite a feat to run most cutscenes in real time.
It's called price skimming. They were trying to recover money spent on R&D to develop it early in the handheld's life.
I for one am glad the Go exists, if it had been cheaper, I would have bought it. But my new 3000 is better because the Go exists. I love all the downloadable games in the PSN Store.
And when the price drops on the Go, it will push the 3000 to drop too. Unless they release the 4000, which seems to be their strategy. Offer more features for the sam...
I bought a PSP for this game. Well not just this game, but this is the one that pushed me over the edge.
The last portable I had before this was my GameBoy Color.
I love my PSP now. I download most of my games through PSN and it's great to have such a large selection of games when I'm out on the go. The PSP really doesn't get enough credit.
The only problem is trying to find time to play it between my PS3 and 360.
Heavy Rain is not a first party game...
Didn't like it in GoldenEye. Didn't like it in Halo 2/3. Hate it in MW2.
So this is awesome news! Good job, Bungie. I'm glad someone gets it.
Why would you give up a backwards compatible PS3 with card readers?
You have the Holy Grail of PS3's, repair it.
Don't feed the troll, guys.
Can't wait for the reviews to start rolling in. That's when I really get pumped for a game's release.
Zeus is going to die! Along with anything else that gets in my way! Haha.
I played it right after the update after not playing for a month or so and I didn't really notice any difference in the damage.
Everyone still seems like a bullet sponge to me.
Though I never use the AK47, so that may be why I didn't notice anything.
Good idea, poor implementation. A touch screen LCD will never work as well as buttons. Anyone who's played an iPhone game that tries to mimic buttons would know this.
Games require you to play without looking at the controller, if you have a flat screen for multiple buttons, you'll probably have trouble "finding" the one you mean to press.
Granted, I maybe be misunderstanding, but judging by the description, I think the LCD is meant to replace most of the a...
I'm sorry, but I don't buy it. Does God of War look incredible? Yes. But I just don't think it surpasses Uncharted 2.
I think it comes down to personal preference really. God of War 3 has scale, Uncharted 2 has textures and animation, Killzone 2 has lighting and physics (and hit-response, which is a combination of animations and physics).
From what I've seen of God of War 3, it looks freakin' epic. But to say it easily surpasses everything else? I just think they see...
It's not like they brought her up on stage, guys, she was just seen leaving the event.
Maybe, you know, she's actually interested in the game?
Why isn't Gran Turismo 5 on the list? It's confirmed (unlike most of the list) and it's a huge game.
I'd also like to see some Versus. Leave COD7 for MS's conference, they generally focus more on multiplats anyhow.
I'd also be pretty surprised if we didn't see a few more new IPs.

................so you're saying that you're incapable of holding a fvcken disc correctly?
what the fvck is that, is that seriously beyond you?
so what you do you do when you wanna swap out ff13 and play some killzone2 on your ps3?
it's going to happen some time....unless you have it stuck in your fvcking console. """"" """

Actually, it's "No, I am your father." But close enough ;).
Then Luke freaks out way too much and falls. I'm still not sure why you brought it up though.
Exactly. It was a simple mistake, not some sort of conspiracy.
At least someone is able to use logic. Good job, examiner.
Sadly, none of the 7-Elevens near me are participating in the promotion. I was really excited to get a God of War cup but was disappointed.
So the author should stop complaining, at least he has a chance to get the cups, points, slurpee, etc.
Edit: ^Same here, we only have ICY's.
The funny thing about you calling them bull-shots is that 3 of the 4 screens are actually from multiplayer. 3 of those shots actually look worse than the full game. Want proof? If you've played Killzone 2, you'll know that there is only one train. And the other two shots are from multiplayer maps, not the single player campaign.
The only real shot is the first one.
That said, I'm hoping I can get into Halo Reach. I think it should be quite fun. But graphically, it is...
This doesn't surprise me. I don't think the original God of War games had loading screens either, can anyone confirm?
Not playing Uncharted 2's single player is like ordering a delicious pizza and only eating the crust. I mean, sure, it's good, but you're missing the main attraction. That's what you do for MW2, not Uncharted 2.
Uncharted and Killzone have loading screens, technically. But there's not an abundance of them, unless you skip cutscenes. But doing that is ...
