Best way to take advantage of this: Gamestop is including the original Xbox One in the deal (including its bundles), and the bundles are currently heavily discounted. You can get the 500GB Gears of War Ultimate bundle with either Rare Replay, Tomb Raider or Forza 6, PLUS any $59.99 or under game, all for $230 before tax/shipping. Too good of a deal to pass up, especially if you don't care about 4k (which is I'm guessing most people here).
Went ahead and got Tomb Rai...
Honestly this is the only game I really want on the Xbox One, it looks so freaking good. My PC isn't powerful enough and its apparently a pretty poor port anyway.
Whoever greenlit Homefront Revolution must really hate money. The first one was poorly received.
@EDMIX Tales of series.
Yeah, the game is pretty much universally despised outside of some extreme fanboys and Nintendo apologists. Not even remotely "amazing," unless they meant amazingly disappointing.
Everyone always says this about games with poor controls. Not that I would know too much about the controls for W101, as I barely played it way back at a Wii U preview and thus don't remember them, but really, the stock answer for bad controls in games is always "they are great, you just have to get used to them!"
All graphics, no game. Pretty much sums up the Quantic Dream experience.
Cosmetics used to be free unlockables in $60 games. Them being turned into $5+ "micro"transactions is unacceptable.
Shadow of Mordor. What a garbage final boss and ending.
It's in between two games that have had 10 years of hype behind them. I want Gravity Rush 2 to do well. It won't.
Shame about the release date.
I don't think I can possibly care about another handheld. I'd rather have a trimmed down version that only functions stationary hooked up to a TV, an outlet and a wireless controller, ala Playstation TV. Cutting out the price of a screen and battery would be nice.
Well Catalyst would have fared better if there was a single reason for the game to be open world. A few awful collectables you couldn't even use without a completely separate phone app and a laundry list of time trials; THAT'S IT! If you didn't care for time trials (or simply got bored of repeating the same areas over and over) all the "open world" offered was the ability to run to the next mission. It was damn boring.
Being able to go to ground level ...
Good. It's a waste of development time to go back and slightly better the visuals of games that were long-beaten by the fans. I'd rather them fully devote resources to new games, and this goes for all developers.
Its the garbo shading on their faces that makes them look weird. For some reason the Yakuza devs are great at making male faces but they have serious Netherrealm issues when it comes to females.
I don't think they forgot Europe, I think Europeans forget that each country has their own import taxes and most companies would rather not bother with that. Stop blaming companies and start blaming your government.
Don't worry, over half of those will get delayed as usual.
I thought after the Titanfall 2 beta/demo/whatever everyone pretty much agreed the game was going to be complete trash. Not like the two have anything in common or similar audiences anyway. October is now barren for anyone who doesn't care about shooters or RTS, outside of Mafia 3 (which is partially a third person shooter).
Yeah, after playing that and then playing a few other games, along with watching streams of others, its really surprising how well Deus Ex turned out. Especially considering the average game release this generation and ESPECIALLY under the watchful eye of Square Enix, the publisher; You know, the guys who spent the last decade funding and developing one game. It has its issues sure, but damn they made a fine game overall. Really makes you wonder how all these other developers keep cocking it ...
I agree completely. It also didn't give any reason to heavily explore the environment. I feel like a lot of these "walking sims" are missing one of the big reasons Gone Home was such a big hit, and that was having an engrossing environment to explore along with a story. I'd wager most people that enjoyed Gone Home enjoyed exploring a home reminiscent of the 90s more than they did the plot.
