Buying high-slot ships is a grind in itself. There is no way you are going to earn 60+million while playing normally, and that's how much it costs to buy a ship with 40+ slots.
^ There is no player data being sent or received from the server, only planet data and names. But continue to believe him despite this.
^ There is no multiplayer whatsoever. Sean Murray stated multiple times that there would be multiplayer, or at least the ability to see another player: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Clearly it doesn't, as Sean continues to lie about promised features of the game to this day.
Because the realization that everything you are doing in your first solar system is all you'll be doing for the rest of the billion quintillion planets hasn't set in yet.
Even the demo had framerate issues and barely anything was going on besides "dynamic" weather.
It's not the biggest disappointment, but I didn't expect much to begin with. It's just a more boring than I originally expected.
All you have to do is continue to lie even after the game releases about the features of your game!
Because they probably only played the game for three hours. In the first three hours almost everyone is wow'd by this game; it's not until you leave your starting planet or solar system that you realize what you were doing on that first planet is all you'll be doing for the rest of the time spent playing the game.
There is nothing fun about planet-hopping praying for RNG to bless you with a planet stuffed with Emeril or Graviton Balls or whatever else worth big bucks, and then grinding for a few hours. Honestly duping doesn't sound so bad.
Well the UI would be a bit more manageable, as it's completely trash on the PS4. The ability to repair your ship shields/thermal suits would be easier as well.
The problem is that just about everyone's first impression will be "holy hell this is awesome!" And then, either once you leave your home planet or system, you realize everything you were doing on the very first planet is basically all you'll do for the rest of your time playing. At the end of the day it's just another resource grinding game.
Seems like they really hate their customers. Must have taken notes from Nintendo themselves.
HIT THE LEVER was it for me.
You watch it climb (or fall) your list of nearby Pokemon. Again, this was easy when it worked.
Actually, when it did fully function and update properly (for all of like two days) it was pretty easy to track with just the three feet system.
When you see something you want, you target it and continue walking straight until it changes to two feet. Remember where you were standing when changes to two and continue walking straight. Once it turns back to three, go directly between the spot where it first changed to two feet and where it changed to three, and simply turn 90...
I'm not a fan of their game being broken for two weeks. Tough shit.
Probably my most wanted game for PS4. Two and Three were soooo good, then the series basically dropped off the face of the earth, with a few crappy psp games here and there.
It doesn't help that one major feature of the game still doesn't function after a week, plenty of bugs freezing/crashing the app on a regular basis, the servers go down every time they add another country and the gyms are filled with rampant gps-spoofing cheaters.
@GrubsterBeater So... you're grinding, not playing normally. I've found a planet littered with Gravitino Balls, sold them with a bonus of 86% and glitched them into a stack, and even 100 (which still takes quite a bit of time to collect) only gives you around 4 million-ish. Anyone can do this, it's just grinding. My point is that you'll never even come close to the 60 million to buy a ship with 40+ slots through simply exploring planets. Without glitching stacks of "unsta...
