I feel like if you're judging the original Star Fox by it's era then I feel you should do the same with Star Fox 2 IMO. Since they are both effectively SNEA games
@levii
Okay, but it isn't about what you are personally interested in. They've released more games period. Are we talking about releases or our personal taste in games? Because I don't care what your taste in games is.
Animal Crossing doesn't have a DLC pass. Also, I don't think any of the games they've released this year and only one game last year (Hyrule warriors) have DLC passes. That's a far cry from most of their games.
@Levii
Nintendo has published more content than Sony so far this year.
The one coop element that was cool was the fact that one of you was going crazy the whole time. However, they butchered it. They could have made it subtle where you were t sure if you were going crazy. Instead they filled the game with clowns.
I literally beat this game just a few months ago with a friend. The coop dynamic had a few cool ideas. However, it was overall a poor experience. Bad story. Not scary. Enemies weren't interesting. And it had so many copy and pasted assets. It isn't what a dead space game should be at all.
Well I'm glad we received clarification. The fact that they mentioned their investors specifically is good too, as legally they arent allowed to lie to their investors.
Still, it is interesting how such relatively minimal upgrades could increase manufacturing costs by around $50.
Emulator sites don't pay licensing fees.
Ways to increase the appeal:
-Add Nintendo 64 games
-Add Gameboy/Gameboy Advanced games
-Offer exclusive online membership sales
-Create more unique online modes for your games
-Fix the freaking slow and laggy connections that plague every game that isn't Splatoon.
@Christopher
It isn't just one developers experience. Multiple developers commented on their experiences. You know what, I'm not going to bother responding to you if you aren't going to read the article. Because clearly you haven't.
Please read the article. They went out of their way to suggest it wasn't a platform with Gamepass (i.e. not Xbox) and other developers went on to share their own experiences with Playstation as an indie developer.
So, it sounds like they don't have all of these same issues with Platform Y and Platform Z.
Something similar happened to me. What's frustrating is that it essentially says "requirements not met". I was very confused as I'm rocking a 3070 FE, 32GB of RAM, and a i9-10850k. I was like "there is no way mine doesn't meet the requirements". After a bit of googling I found out about the TPM thing.
They need to put that into the requirements along with a "how to" section on how to enable TPM in motherboards where it's been d...

Luigi's Mansion 3, Smash Ultimate, Mario Odyssey, Mario Maker 2, Astral Chain, Xenoblade 2, Animal Crossing New Horizon, Monster Hunter Rise, and Fire Emblem Three Houses aren't Wii U ports :P
Most games Nintendo published for the Switch aren't Wii U ports.
Microsoft is SET UP to do everything right. They have the studios. They have hardware parity. They have a consistent message. These were all things the Xbox One lacked.
However, it's the delivery that matters. The games that are announced sound good, but it does nothing if the games aren't good. That's the crux of the issue and the one I'm hoping they fix. If they do that then they'll see more sales.
Metroid Dread at number 1? That is awesome. Typically Metroid doesn't sell as much as other Nintendo titles. Hopefully with Dread that changes.
@badz
I didn't try to do anything but give you a good comparison. I provided you with a character with similar composition to Mario so you weren't distracted by the difference in art style, because it seems like that's what you're distracted about.
Everybody's Golf 6 also doesn't look as good as Mario Golf: Superstar, so I'm not sure what you are talking about. The resolution, polygonal models, foliage, textures...I mean half ...
@badz
I honestly don't see how you could think that Mario Golf: Superstar looks worse than Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds. Maybe it's the style of the character that is throwing you off. I included a character that more displays an artistic design more similar to Mario to help with this comparison.

I think what they mean is the sequel has a BotW-esque glider. But BotW has used ideas and took inspiration from other games too, so I don't know why people are trying to suggest it's a bad thing.
Vita didn't get 20M either...
