It might as well still be an exclusive.

The game is locked away in the confines of the Windows Store insane asylum on Windows 10 :)

I'm not even going near Windows Store as it's an app store to me not a AAA game store.

Rollercoaster Tycoon World is developed by Atari not Frontier.

RCT World has had a messy development cycle and is not the RCT game you should buy.

I'll be getting Planet Coaster closer to launch.

No Man's Sky reminds me of a first person Starbound currently on PC.

That game had infinite planets to discover and explore along with mining resources to upgrade you armour and equipment but it also had player built buildings too.

It's a 2D game but in the same vein as No Man's Sky.

It's procedurally generated. They did not hand craft all those eighteen quintillion planets themselves.

The computer does all the work for them. They just added the code and textures to tell it to generate the infinite worlds.

It's amazing coding and maths what they've achieved but no one knows what the planets will be like when they are formed not even the developers.

They could be cut/paste worlds for 50% of them but no one will...

I'm not struggling to find £40 I'm just not paying that price for a game I know next to nothing about.

If ever there was a leap of faith whether a game will be good or not this is it.

But I'm a PC gamer so I'll find a price for the game I'm willing to pay. £25-30 is about right.

Publishers and developers can set a price for their games at what ever they want. It doesn't mean people are willing to pay that pri...

It is so I won't be supporting their closed off Windows Store on PC. That's my choice as a PC gamer.

PC platform hasn't been Microsoft's platform for a long time now. It's an open platform so they have no control over it neither does Valve though.

I'll just play the thousands of other PC games on stores that don't have these stupid and draconian restrictions.

Microsoft need to get with the program. I find it shocki...

And what are the sales for the separate platforms?

PS4 is one platform and Xbox One is another platform. Don't lump them together and say console is one platform when it isn't.

3.28m for Ps4 and 1.12m for Xbox One for retail sales.

PC sold 1.4m on steam and God knows how many on GoG, which CD Projekt own who are the parent company of CD Projekt RED and GoG.

PC is 90% digital now. I haven't bought a retail game on ...

Skyrim sold approx 10.5 million on PC.
X360 - 8.74mil
PS3 - 6.45mil

Don't lump the consoles together. Treat them as separate platforms. It's only fair.

Fallout 3 & 4 are good games but they don't compare to the original Fallout games. It turned a lot of PC gamers away from the franchise when it turned into a FPS game.

The only good CoD games were CoD 1 and 2. After that it turned into what we have today. Hardly...

@rainslacker

I'm not a PC elitist but I was a PC gamer when Microsoft didn't have their Xbox yet.

I also had to endure Games for Windows Live that Microsoft forced upon us and it wasn't a pleasant gaming client.

People think Steam has a monopoly now. They are nothing compared to what Microsoft was like before they launched the Xbox platform.

I don't think MS knows how to communicate with PC gamers at all. They...

A shame Direct X 12 doesn't decrease the system requirements but increase them.

GTX 970 and 16GB RAM minimum to play at 1080p is ridiculous.

I will not be supporting Microsoft and Windows Store. MS needs to prove to PC gamers they are willing to support the platform fully and not abandon it like last time.

I'm on a wait and see stance with anything Microsoft.

Microsoft need to open up their Windows Store to allow cust...

DSOGaming only report about the PC platform as far as I know.

So it would be their platform of choice.

They would have a invested interest in PC when that's the only platform they report about.

You can't just keep blaming piracy without any evidence whatsoever.

There's only so many times you can cry wolf before people just ignore you for being a troll.

No proof no leg to stand on so STFU :)

Denuvo may prevent piracy for now but does it increase sales massively like the publishers think it will?

I don't think it has. There's a lot of people not buying the games with denuvo on now.

They are losing sales from people trying the games out and also the people who hate draconian DRM.

I think they'll lose more sales than gain with Denuvo DRM.

It's their choice to waste more money on DRM but if they do ge...

No DRM on Witcher 3 has nothing to do with GoG.com that CD Projekt owns as well, right?

Just because some publishers don't trust their customers to actually want buy their games doesn't mean they are all like that.

If a game is good people will buy it. DRM or no DRM.

Publishers and developers should get that into their thick skulls and stop treating us like criminals before we've even bought the games. Guilty until proven innocent...

Rise of the Tomb Raider and Just Cause 3 use Denuvo DRM on PC.

These are the 2 games that have given me the most performance problems over the last few years as well.

Coincidence? I think not.

Only Mad Max was really well optimised out of the Denuvo games to not cause any serious performance problems for me.

The rest gave me piss poor performance and shouldn't have really.

I use Windows 10 but I know how to configure it so it doesn't have any spyware from MS.

Most PC gamers will know how to do this or look it up themselves and do it.

This is what PC gaming is all about. Choice.

Now MS doesn't understand the meaning of the word as they are trying to put up a walled garden on PC with Windows 10 and Windows Store so PC gamers will predictably reject their BS.

It's not so easy for MS to...

Microsoft can't get XCOM 2, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Undertale or The Witcher on Xbox One as they don't own those games.

Other publishers and developers do.

Do you want Microsoft to get Uncharted, Killzone, SFV and Until Dawn as well to add to their portfolio or how about Mario, Zelda, Pikmin or Metroid? Same shit, different platforms.

They have limited power on PC and their money can't be splashed about like it is for 3rd par...

There's a way of going about things and Microsoft always try to force these things on people so they get the response they deserve.

Take for instance all their games coming to PC will be Windows 10 exclusive and Windows Store exclusive.

We don't want gated walls put up around the PC platform like they do on consoles.

MS have been out of the picture on PC for 10+ years and they think they will just come back and dictate how things are ...

On the PC platform it will fail like it did when they tried last time.

It seems Microsoft has a short memory span and PC gamers will not accept a monthly subscription service to play online when every other digital service like Steam , Uplay, GoG Galaxy and Origin is free.

But good luck to them trying to force this on PC gamers again they'll sure need it.

I feel I'm in a Groundhog Day scene when it comes to Microsoft where they try th...

Steam is the biggest PC digital store. The question should be why aren't they putting it on steam?

Ubisoft have their own store and still put their games on steam to reach more people and increase their sales.

Microsoft better not start bitching about lower sales on PC when they are making their games exclusive to Windows 10 as well as Windows store. It'll be their own damn fault.
