Yes millions. GTA 5 sold 5.6 million just on steam. There is still Rockstar's own digital platform to take into account as well.
And this was after the 2 years wait as well but the PC version was the definitive version so well worth the wait :)
Fine by me. Plenty more games out there. It's Rockstar's loss if they don't want to develop their games on PC. RDR is just one game out of the thousands that will come to PC each and every year.
They don't get full price on console either at retail. With retail stores, MS/Sony, the publisher and cost of distribution all taking a cut of the $60 price. It doesn't leave much left.
On PC it's at least 90% digital so only Valve gets 30% if they put it on steam or they'll get 100% of the profits if Rockstar decide to self publish on their own store like they did with GTA5 on PC.
The price is lower than consoles as there is no royalties ...
At least PC can run Solitaire at 1080p/60fps unlike consoles :P
Anyway I guess you've never played any PC games before and don't know how many different varieties of games there is on the platform. There's much more than on consoles but you don't want to know that as that would ruin your perfect little console world.

I'm guessing most of their efforts went into making the PS4 Pro version look good while other versions, namely PC, are very poorly optimised. I guess Bethesda and Arkane will be happy with the amount of refunds happening for the PC version on steam.
Favouring the console versions comes at a price and I don't think they want to lose the revenue from the PC platform if they can help it. Try better next time Arkane/Bethesda or they might not be another.

It's been in early access for over a year on PC. No excuses anymore. It was planned for release in June 2016.
It already has finished paid DLC for an unoptimised, incomplete game.

Yes Call of Duty was once a PC exclusive with a big following but over the last several years it's become a console game and PC gamers just aren't interested any more.
We have better and more numerous games to choose from now so CoD lost it's appeal for the fps community.
To me it's just a casual console fps for the mainstream gamer. It has nothing to offer the core gamer on PC any more.
The game is broken when there's no players to play multiplayer with. It's not working as intended and a refund should be given.

You're joking right? The graphical mods are just the tip of the iceberg for Skyrim. We have thousands of mods to change every aspect of the game.
The game is amazing now not because of Bethesda but because of the PC gaming community and the mods they created.

I will be ignoring them, yes. I don't want anything to do with Microsoft's initiative to transform the PC open platform into a closed off console platform.
I don't really care what games come to Windows app store I won't be buying any of them.

I probably never will buy a game on Microsoft's app store either as they are overpriced and completely locked down on Windows Store. You can't even access the game folder even with admin access on your own PC.
If this is the way Bethesda wants to go then so be it. I'll either buy their games really cheap or buy from steam and get a refund if the game is crap. Makes no difference to me.
I don't trust any publisher or AAA developer these days to develop a well optimised and polished game. Profits mean more to them that their integrity.
Just use your common sense and don't buy any game if you have doubts about it's quality.
Not begging anyone for anything. I just play PC games like Civ 6, Shadow Warrior 2, Rimworld, Total War Warhammer etc :)
If those games you mentioned do come to PC you can be damn sure they weren't moneyhatted by a multi-billion dollar company though unlike 3rd party games that end up on one console or the other.
54000 sales approximately on steam/pc and no idea about Windows Store as Microsoft doesn't release sales numbers anymore especially when they can't spin bad numbers.
Seems like an ok game but it's never gonna sell on pc when it's locked away in the windows store vault for months at a time till it comes to steam and the wider pc community.
PC offers the cheap parts you play on with the consoles as well as most of the games you play today started on PC like CoD and Battlefield.
Without PC you wouldn't have got Witcher 3, XCOM 1 and 2, FPS games, and most if not all the indie games to date started on PC.

PC gamers don't upgrade their system as much as they used to due to weaker consoles not mobiles devices.
I only upgrade my PC when i have to and I haven't had to for years as the consoles have kept the system requirements quite low for PC gaming.
Consoles do stunt technology growth and expansion no matter what anyone says.
PC platform is not an Xbox device no matter how much Microsoft is trying to treat it as such.
And on the cloud computing. Less talk, more showing it off if it exists. I've not seen anything since they demo'd Crackdown 3 2-3 years ago.
