Altair was always one of my favorites. I really hope this means better gameplay and not just "hey we made the world 15% bigger and 20% more boring quests and kept the same very bland combat but now you get 1 more talent tree".
The series needs a total overhaul of it's combat system....as in rip it away from the current team and give it to another team that is willing to take chances.
Actually a little glad this was delayed as hopefully it shows the publisher is allowing the game to be as good as it needs to before release.
Quite the update...a title we all assume was the case and no screenshots or gameplay footage.
True, Greek mythology is much more well known to western audiences than both Norse and Egyptian. While all 3 have alot of potential material, much more of the Greek is known to the west. Egyptian also offers desert like settings which will be a nice change of pace.
Looks great!
Salt and Sacrifice!!!!!!
Honestly, at this point, it comes down to what exclusives you most want. I couldn't care less who wins. I want both to be successful as they drive improvement in both.
Microsoft buying up a bunch of AAA studios is proof they know they're losing and are just throwing money at the issue. Sony is big but not microsoft big, so wouldn't surprise me if they brought in a heavy weight partner like Google or Amazon something to help even the odds money wise.
Agree to a point. With ER, all the lore is new, so if you see a character "Queen Alisa - Boss Theme", it means next to nothing. In a Souls game however, if you see "Artorias The Abysswalker - Boss Theme", you better bet that would spoil ALOT.
I remember playing W3 near launch and I think it was fine. There was a cow exploit but overall, a good launch. It needed patches but all games do nowdays.
I'm waiting for them to allow customization of the player character past the character creator screen. Witcher 3 had this feature...why in the world doesn't CP2077
YES!!!! The PS3 TM was really good and there is a good deal of meat still on this bone. Plus all the nostalgia vibes played TM2 on the PS1.
We'll see. This definitely does not look like a PS5 game. Looks solid for PS4. Maybe they are demonstrating cross gen gameplay?
Curious why there is a lack of AAA VR games(until now?). For the Ps4 it just never seemed worth it to get the VR. Hopefully this will change with PS5
For everything D3 wasn't. D4 looks to be.
Yeah seems odd. Either he is lying or the engine they were using made it unnecessarily complicated because all police chases are are cops spawned a little while away and then given a target of the player character...hard to believe that would be hard to implement.
I still love CDPR but the more we learn from CP2077 the more it seems they were way outside their technical comfort zone.
Also keep in mind especially witcher 1 and two were not amazing gameplay...
Looks amazing. Take as much time as you need to release it in a good state.
I would argue CDPR is still trustworthy. They had one major stumble but their other games have all been well supported and enjoyed. We'll see what Witcher 4 looks like and if its as bad as cyberpunk 2077 then ill no longer trust them.
Um yeah no. Gamers really don't care about that enough to simply not buy the game if it's good. They care if its a good game.
Now, are there other reasons...im sure there are since diablo 4 is an action rpg which is not among the harder game types to develop. blizzard has a habbit of taking forever to release games that don't really push the envelope(d3 and starcraft 2)
Kinda looks like a current gen Dragon's Dogma which is awesome, especially since it is heavily rumored there is a DD2 coming out in the next couple years.
Haha, once the PS6 comes out...PS5 will still be in short supply.
