Raw power is only one part of the equation. There's also how accessible is that power. The Sega Saturn, on paper was more powerful than the PS1, yet for various reasons, it was harder to develop for, so the easily accessible power was often less.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the XBSX is meant to be close to developing for PC, so in theory, it should be just as easy to develop for as a PC
Agreed! Just some opinion piece with a click bait headline. I agree, PSVR2 is very much alive. It's clearly not the top priority i the PS lineup, but VR will only get better and IMO is not a fad like 3d tvs were15 years ago(remember those lol).
Plus, The PSVR2 is one of if not the only affordable VR headset with OLED, which will become PC compatible in August(minus some features like haptic feedback which for me, is not really a big deal)
Haha...oh speculators
I think the game will be awesome but no way is the game plus a little diarama and a couple patches worth $200 for me lol.
What's funny is Konami could do this for MGS 1 and 2 for the next 5 years and I'd be happy. The old MGS games remade with modern hardware would still be awesome...especially since Konami seemingly has 0 interest in creating new games anymore.
Looks awesome. Yes, it appears to be a Elden Ring/Lords of the Fallen "clone" but so what. Looks great.
Oh wow...ok, my opinion play mgs 5 because it's awesome game.
You had me at Hayter :)
Looks great...we'll see
Honestly, it could be called unicorns and faeries for all i care, as long as it's a great game, whatever.
LOL...Ceri with a gatling gun
IIRC I think the game is mostly boss fights, like a boss rush mode or Shadow of the Colossus. I would imagine From could do 80 boss fights in a souls game if 90% of the enemies were bosses lol.
I can forgive all the inaccuracies, even if they are done in the name of woke politics, if the game is great. Every AC game in the last decade tells me not to get my hopes up on that one.
People will have had entire careers by the time this game reaches Gold status.
Name another company that has ever released only games worthy of a 90+ score for over a decade? starting with Demon's Souls, nothing but 90+s...even DS2 was a great game.
Rise of the Ronin also released the same day as the bigger profile Dragon's Dogma 2...plus, it was a solid game but not a hit.
Honestly, if it's a great game, and runs solid 30fps, I couldn't care less.
DD2 is at the same time, an excellent game, but also a flawed and in some areas, poorly balanced game. Aside from graphics, it also does not really feel like a step forward in terms of combat, which i was the most surprised by.
I just hope it isn't a battle royale type game. I want a great single player mandalorian FPS(or even a Destiny 2 style single player)
Um....where was the party in those gameplay clips? Looked like a normal 3rd person souls like.
