They won’t I’m afraid. When games on consoles come out on 2 generations, the new generation is “screwed”. It will look nicer, play better, higher frames.., but it wont take the full potential of the next gen hardware. When games go PS5 only, then you will see the true power.

If reviewers don’t finish a game, it’s pretty obvious to me that he/she doens’t like the game for whatever reason. Then again, as a reviewer you should finish a game unless it’s complete garbage or totally unplayable.
If the new TS has the option to build your own maps/arenas like in the old days, then it will sell pretty well I believe. Play and share those self builds maps with friends, appealing enough for me :)

Don't forget HDR, sometimes content with HDR looks better than a higher resolution without it, but the HDR must be done properly tho.
It depends on how you look at “being succesful”. If MS was set to sell 10 million consoles and eventually sold 20 million, than that is succesful. If Sony was set to sell 50 million and eventually sold 40 million, was that succesful even when it sold double compared to MS’s console? Nonetheless I agree, xbox 360 isn’t the most succesful console ever.
I think indie developers may get some credit here as well. A lot of those games are single player only.
Also depends on the screen;PS4 HDR on my Oled looks incredible at times,yet the same game on my monitor (also LG by the way) looks terrible.
I’m happy with a1440p ouput as I play on a monitor, but Sony doesn’t support this resolution officialy. With a good screen you get a downscale from a 4K signal, which looks pretty good, or in worst case an upgraded 1080p signal, which looks meh.
Yeah, Series S can be found but no Series X or PS5.

Did you use gaming mode? Runs better imo. Never had an issue on my oled to be honest. Is it an LG? Although other brands use the same oled screen as LG, they use different image processing, perhaps that’s the problem in your case.
Then get it on PS4, story and gameplay will be the same.

Can’t say I agree with you here; first ME was great but a bit rough around the edges, but ME2 ironed out most of those, and still remains my favourite part. ME3 equally good but with a controversial ending.
I agree on Andromeda, that was mediocre at best imho.
Certain games rely on a good story and certain gamers enjoy those games. Detroit Become Human or TLOU are a fine example imo. But not every game needs a good story to be fun, that is true.
