to me, Firefox seems to be the fastest one, concidering Chrome is still beta. But I don't feel a huge difference in speed tho.
They both kick IE's ass anyway :)

What in the hell has Too Human and LBP to do with Spore? We're talking different platforms here anyway. Grow up!

I miss good old DOS. Games never crashed under DOS. If you could install a game under DOS or Windows95 at the time, you never got screwed with DOS and for most of the time the game ran much better. Plus you looked like a real computergeek when working with DOS, even when it was quit simple :)

why involve the Wii version in this comparison??? We all know the PS3 and X360 version look alot better.
The real difference is the gameplay here, where the Wii version will be totally different and wich you can't tell just by looking at this video.

Between the PS3 and X360 version, i noticed the most difference in the ground detail, but they both look very good.

then both MS and Sony got their asses kicked by Nintendo.

sorry, but the PS3 was NOT worth the money, launchprice that is.
I bought a PS2 at launch and when the good games finally came up, the PS2 already got a price cut.
Looking at the hardware the PS3 has (cell, blueray), the launchprice was about right, but from a console kinda vieuw, I would say no way.

you're pathetic.

killzone2 doesn't even come close to Crysis.
it's nice to see you luv your PS3, but don't fool yourself with this BS!

There is only one way to compare the power between the PC and console. We should look at console games when they peak at the possibilities of the hardware and then compare them to PC games from years the console was released in.
Nowadays PC games are released with the hardware available in the present day, but consolegames don't. developers need to learn how to work on the hardware.
e.g. xbox360 has 3 cores. at launch, i don't believe the dualcore was released yet but still. Tak...

I believe the best thing MS can do is support BR on the Xbox360.
We all see that BR has the best papers now to become the new standard format. It would be stupid from MS to keep on pushing the HD-DVD format with a inbuilt HD-DVD drive in the Xbox360 considering the evolution in the BR vs HD-DVD war. MS had a nice lead over the PS3 and if they want to keep it that way, MS should join the BR standard.
I can't wait to see what MS will reveal tho.... :)

don't forget Alan Wake, Too Human...

I have AC on Xbox360, so I couldn't care less how it looks on PS3 (or PC for that matter). Even if it looks nicer on another platform, so what. Does it change the experience you have with the game? Don't think so!
Does comparing change my opinion such as " I have a nice console" to something like "what a piece of junk!"? Hell no!!
I could have a PS3 and play AC on it, it wouldn't want me to compare with Xbox360 because... what you gonna do about it anyway??? ...

it's has been long in developement because I believe Alan Wake will give a very good example of what the X360's Triple core can do. (If it has the HDD support as well...)
The video's of gameplay I've seen from AW where builds from a quadcore PC, so you can say this game will effectively use multicore. And as some guy from UT3 said; multicore is hard to program for...

true, but Halo was already a big name in the bizz, Alan Wake isn't, allthough it looks really amazing.
Maybe they saving it up for next year to come with a bang? I dunno... let's hope so :)

although GT looks really great, i just hope it will be more than graphics. If it plays just like previous versions, it's gonna bore me sooner then i would imo. I loved GT1,2 and 3 but after 3 I felt that it was lacking the necesarry changes/improvements gameplay wise.
To be honest, the in-car view looks nice, but I don't use that view, in any other racegame as well.
I'll wait and see when it arrives.

I'll bet if a movie played on BR or on HD-DVD, no one could tell the difference!! And those who say they can, are just full of it.

No matter how you put it, Sony lost this generations war. How?
Because they lost a big piece of console adepts to MS and Nintendo.
Even if Sony could take the lead in 2008, the differences in sales are much tighter then ever before. The PS3 didn't overwhelm the people in terms of sales like Sony hoped it would. They lost there dominance they had the last decade. If you really want to put a label "console war winner" on anything, I say Nintendo. Nobody thought they woul...

screw graphics, gameplay rules all!

the only reason x360 can't handle Mass Effect is because of the fault MS made to bring the core edition on the market. No HDD has a vast influence on performance, and Mass Effect (and other games as well) show this.
It's hard to prove, but Mass Effect build with HDD in mind would be a lot better in terms of performance. I read that MS would label future games with some kinda label where HDD is required and I truly hope GTA4 is one of them. :)
