Setting seems the same, but without gameplay footage, it’s hard to judge.
Gamescores are personal. Just because the reviewer gives GOT a 5/10, doens’t mean you have to, right?
If you think every PS games will be 60fps, think again. PC for you I guess. Not every game needs 60fps, just race games and shooters imho. You can play adventures, indies and alike just fine @30fps.
3 times faster and 4 times more expensive (if PS5 has a 500€/$ pricetag) will still give the PS5 a better “bang for the buck” in my opinion.
120 fps is not that super, 120@4k is, big difference. But xbox won’t pull that either. 60fps/4k/hdr & raytracing. Give me that and I’m happy. Both consoles have the power for that imo.
A nice month!
So everybody keeps playing GTA5 (online) and that’s Rockstars fault?? Lol
And they shouldn’t, totally agree.
Oh really? So PS Pro has twice the power compared to base PS4 and Naughty Dog gives equal quality?? Why on earth did I invest in a pro version then? Either having a pro was a waste of money or ND was just lazy for the pro users. Disagree all you want but please explain why.
1.8ghz fixed and 2.23ghz boost mode. Not the same. Which is better? Time will tell.
It’s still a 14% difference technicly, but yeah, in the end the games will show what is the better platform i guess.
I think open world games will benefit most out of the PS5 ssd system. In other games the loading times wil probably be less than XSX but the game itself will be the same.
Lol, you can’t even change tyre pressure in your sim, adjust horsepower and weight with sliders (GT sport)?? What a joke.
It only offers flexibility for powerconsumption imo, but as a gamer I don’t care at all how much juice my console needs.
@twiggytree: maybe, but it comes with delays anyway (ordered a lot of stuff online, some of it takes weeks because of the convid situation where as in normal circumstances it just takes a few days to get stuff). So imagine the hustle for a worldwide (simultanious) release...
There is only one reason imo; sales. E.g.: I can’t get a game from the store because it’s closed due to convid. A lot of countries have basicly the same laws. You could download a digital version, sure, but I like a physical copy (call me old fashioned). So trying to release a game in those circumstances is kinda crazy and it would seem like a failed launch. On the other hand, the delay gives developers some extra time to polish, optimize and what not. Looking foward to the game nonetheless! ...
Lucky me then. Never got to playing UC4. I know, shame on me and all that ;)
I don’t understand why Sony keeps being so silent about the PS5 in general. MS plays with an open hand now basicly.
True but MS shot themselfs in the foot with the original xbox one release. PS4 took a head start because of that and the exclusives did the rest. The xbox one x, although a nice machine, basicly came to late to compete. For this next gen, I think launch titles will be pretty important.
@cjqnsnyc; Deus Ex was first person view, Elder Scrolls have both, but 3rd person always felt akward to me. I’m not gonna lie, I was dissapointed when CDP stated we could only play in first person, but that doesn’t mean the game isn’t ambitious.
