@ andy; djeezes, it's right in the article;
"But on console, it looks like the marketing has so far struggled to make a big impact for Xbox and Atlus. While Metaphor: ReFantazio heads the Japanese Top Paid charts, it has only managed P15 in the US chart (behind other new releases such as Undisputed, DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO, New World: Aeternum and Starship Troopers: Extermination)
In the UK it’s even more stark, with the likes of Squirrel with a Gun an...
Read the article. P15 in US charts for both Xbox and PS. Still shocked?
Did you read the article? It sits at p15 in US charts for both Xbox and PS. P24 in UK (xbox) and p16 in UK (PS).
As long as it’s not the “Concord” seal…
It didn’t release on xbox
@ Choco
True, but FSR and DLSS won’t sit on their butts either.
All in all a pretty impressive base Sony has with PSSR already tho.
More powerfull machines for what? Remakes? Play games basicly everybody played already with better gfx or higher fps?
This gen is the weakest ever gamewise.
or Action Replay!
@Chevalier: hard to talk sales when it’s on gamepass don’t you think?
I wouldn’t say Hellblade 2 flopped (scorewise average to good) but it didn’t boost console sales or GP subs if that’s what you mean?
But yeah, this year was the opportunity for Xbox to rival PS but they clearly blew it.
Yeah, I had one of those back in the day; ATI Hercules Prophet 9800. Great card but the driver support from ATI was a bit lackluster then.
Not sure if this will revive the game, but better to try f2p than to bury it I guess.
Great arcade racer with awesome graphics, especially the rain effects. Wasn’t really a fan of the “dynamic A.I.” tho (not sure how to call it otherwise).
DLSS already proved this, but it’s great to see this stuff coming to console.
On PC, you can turn that stuff off. On console, it is a great solution for nice graphics and framerates without the need for going over the top on hardware/price.
@frosty: you confuse frame per second and input latency. PSSR, DLSS or any other create input latency, but it’s as good as neglectable tho.
I agree. I prefer original. Like the original Mafia got butchered by the Definitive Edition (changed character models, other voice acting,…). Never liked it one bit (original Mafia is on my list as one of the best games I’ve played ever).
True but it’s interesting to read if the new content/character is any good/fun.
If you enjoy D4, you will enjoy the add-on.
And as for price; there are people here who pay 10$ with a smile for a graphics update of a game they already played. So yeah, 40$ (cheapest option) seems ok as price to me.
@andy: if you mean the source this article is based on, then honestly, no clue.
Which makes another point clear here: Sony fans laugh at Xbox with this article ( or should I say just reading the title) based on what then?
