I think the bitching was DLC for the multiplayer part. I didn’t care for it tbh, I loved RDR2 singleplayer and that was enough for me.
The tech was perhaps outdated but the immersion definitely wasn’t.
I believe there is a difference in how a controller feels in your hand (design) and what it does. Personally I prefer the MS controllers design (placement of the thumbstick e.g.) but the PS5 controller has some cool features lacking on the MS controller.
@The Wood; Candy Crush —> Activison Blizzard —> Microsoft (if the deal gets over the line at least).
Candy Crush generated $1,2 billion in 2021 and has 250 million monthly players. Not too shabby imo.

@Asplundh: 🤣 it’s a quote from the movie Big Business, so I guess the writers did all the research on that one 😁
Is a frogs ass watertight?
I bet Ragnarok as it has a broader audiance compared to Elden, more accessible if you will. Just my thought.
A great game to play in VR, no doubt about that.
@shinoff: Sony may did it right with PS5 but for the moment PS4 is holding back PS5, which won’t last forever obviously. But that’s not my point. It’s about pushing the power on each individual system and that’s where it goes wrong. If dev’s can do that for PC games (with ton’s of possible setups), would it be so hard to optimize for 2 systems?
If series S (and last gen to a certain point) is holding back current gen, it’s because dev’s or their publicers don’t want to invest time (and/or money) to optimize their game for each platform, It’s just that simple.
@Mr Logic
Then why is it presented as an option??
The choices are nice indeed. Mine would be performance tho (1440p + HFR + VRR) as I play on a 1440p monitor with VRR. Perfect match imo.
I agree the tech is more advanced, but when a console peripheral costs more than the console itself… I dunno, tricky price setting imo.
Ouch, 100€ more than I expected...
I expect a raise in sub’s when the new Forza and especially Starfield get released, but for how long?
When you started with an inch and gained 400%, you should be thankfull 😁
Yup, from $200 up to $250…
Couldn’t agree more!
I think the preference of map size depends on your personal taste. If I can get all trophies/achievements without having to explore every inch of the map, size doesn’t really matter.
It also depends on how that map is filled, e.g. if half the map is desert with nothing to do, then yeah, make the map smaller.
It also depends on your taste of exploring, just wandering around. A big map can contribute to that, if that’s your thing.
