This could be cool. I can already use Hulu on the PS3 browser but it gives me problems. If Microsoft implements a smooth Hulu functionality it would be much appreciated.
That looks drop dead gorgeous. I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. This game has me very interested.
I am a huge fan of Dead Space on the 360/PS3 and I have to admit this version is looking great. In fact, I would even go so far as to say that those are the best looking graphics I have ever seen on the Wii.
Yes, but as far as I know the PS3 doesn't translate Japanese into English. And I haven't heard any confirmation of whether this game has English subs or dubs. Many games don't.
Since I have both consoles, I will just wait to get it on my 360.
Yes, but is it confirmed to have english subs or dubs? If not, I wouldn't enjoy it enough to make it worth importing. With story driven games like these it is necessary to understand what is going on.
I know, it's silly to act like you can just import any game and enjoy it the same way. Unless of course you can speak fluent Japanese. Some games have English subtitles or dubs, but many don't.
I loved the first Way of the Samurai on PS2 and I hope this new one will be just as good.
If this is a 360 exclusive in the US it will be just like Tenchu Z, which was another series I played on the PS2 but that has now found its home on the 360.
Fable 2 is one of my favorite RPGs and can't wait to find out what Lionhead are working on. I agree with a lot of the people above me, BC would be awesome. I was really looking forward to that game on Xbox and then it got canceled. That would be a great game to resurrect for the 360.
I hope it is something good.
I love my 360. It has given me some of the best gaming experiences of my 20+ years of playing games.
Good job Microsoft. Keep doing what you are doing.
Microsoft have done a great job this generation. It's amazing the amount of things they got right right off the bat that other consoles only added later or are still struggling to catch up to.
Well, I admit that the 360 is my favorite console, but that doesn't mean that I hate the PS3. I have a PS3 and I think it is doing well too, just not as well as the 360. They are both good consoles but I simply think the 360 does a little more right.
It is nice to see that...
The 360 has a lot of fantastic stuff coming. Don't let the radical PS3 fanboys get you down.
You are right though, Mass Effect 2 is one of biggest games on the horizon and I have no doubt that it will be amazing.
That trailer got me so pumped for the game. The first one is already my top RPG of all time and I can't wait for part deux.
Judging by the trailers it seems apparent that Bioware have improved the game's performance by quite a bit. The frame rate seems solid and I didn't notice any pop-in or frame tearing. Thank god E3 is only a few days a way.
Mass Effect is THE best RPG I have ever played and they are improving so much for the sequel. It is going to be a mind blowing experience. E3 can't come soon enough.
--Long live Bioware--
All told, I think the graphics in Prototype are just as good as in Infamous. Actually in several ways Prototype seems to be better than Infamous. It has better scale and huge vistas, less pop-in and better anti-aliasing.
Huge open world games, however, are almost never going to have the quality of graphics of smaller, more confined games. The graphics are more than acceptable and it is all down to how fun the gameplay is. And Prototype looks fun as hell in my opinion.
Neither Infamous nor Prototype blow me away with their graphics, but it is the gameplay that is most important. Good performance is also extremely important for a game of this type. You can't have massive amounts of slow-down, screen tearing or pop-in or it will really detract from the fluidity of the gameplay. Open world games are generally never going to look as good as more confined types of games anyway (ok, ok, except for Assassin's Creed which looked absolutely stunning).
I have both consoles too and I don't see what the big difference is between the two console's lineups. The 360s looks just as good as the PS3s. Am I missing something?
On PS3 I'm looking forward to:
Uncharted 2
God of War 3
Heavy Rain
Ratchet & Clank (not a big fan, but I'll throw it in there anyway)
On 360 I'm looking forward to:
Halo 3 ODST
Mass Effect 2
Alan Wake
Splinter Cell Conviction
Seems pret...
That list is awesome. If even half of those games makes it out this year I will be one happy gamer. Seriously, some of those games are some of my most anticipated games--Halo 3 ODST, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Conviction, Mass Effect 2. Pure awesomeness.
Then I also have all the PS3 games to look forward to...
This E3 is going to be crazy.
Halo ODST is going to be freaking great, just wait and see. I don't care if isn't as long as most games, it is going to be an amazing experience. Short and sweet. Besides, it isn't going to be as short as you are saying and it isn't going to cost as much as a full game either. It really sounds like you are just trying to find an excuse to hate on it because you know it is a super successful franchise that millions of us love.

If you think the reason you can't get a particular service such as Netflix or Hulu in your country is because of the free market you are completely clueless.
The free market is why such services exist in the first place. The reason those services might not exist in your country is either because the company hasn't decided to expand into those markets or your country has some regulations restricting such services that you are not even aware of. Blaming it o...
