Well, judging by most multiplatform games it just might look better on the 360.
Gamersblow, I want to believe what you are telling us, but I just don't know. You said there was a forest level in Killzone 2 and that never turned out to be true. I'm not hating on you at all, but some of the stuff you have said sounds incredible and I just hope you are on the up and up.
Well, whatever he's referring to I am excited to find out what it is.
I love how MS have kept their cards close to their chest this year and haven't announced a bunch of games that aren't going to be out for a long time. I have heard a few rumors and I think people are going to be pretty surprised what MS have to show us.
Microsoft is going to have a killer showing, that's for sure. Every year PS3 fanboys underestimate the 360 and do their trash talking, and every year the 360 shows how wrong they were. It's going to be the same this year.
Microsoft have never disappointed me. Last E3 was pretty lukewarm on all sides, but I still think MS ended up with a great year. Gears 2, Left 4 Dead and Fable 3 are some of my favorite games from last holiday. I think MS is going to have a very impressive batch of stuff to show off. Just the stuff we know is going to be shown is enough to have me super excited. I feel like a kid on Christmas eve who can't wait for tomorrow.
Shazui is trying to pretend that because Halo doesn't have bar-raising graphics that it can't be any good. Well, millions of people disagree with you. The gaming press also largely disagree with you. Halo 3 is one of the higher rated games of this generation.
In the end though, I don't care how many copies it sold or what reviews it received. I love the game because I find it to be a well crafted game that is a total blast to play.
@Shazui
No, I disagreed with you because you are a radical PS3 fanboy that always tries to spin anything 360 related in a negative direction. Moreover, saying Halo ODST is "nothing" when we haven't really seen much about the game is hopelessly biased and ignorant. That's why I disagreed with you.
Yep, in terms of sheer FUN, Halo is basically unrivaled in the shooter genre. That is why so many millions of people are still playing it everyday. People (well, PS3 fanboys to be more precise) don't give Halo nearly enough credit.
No, because that is a dishonest representation of what the 360 offers. I own both consoles and the 360 has given me great gaming across all genres. Great RPGs, action games, shooters, adventure, open world, you name it.
The PS3 is also a great console, but I do like my 360 a bit more and I think it is silly when PS3 fanboys try to paint the 360 as nothing but a shooter-box. Nothing could be further from the truth.
I Know. I am so pumped for E3 this year. Microsoft is going to have an awesome E3 showing. ODST by itself already has me so excited. And then there are all the other games...
I own MGS4 and I own many of the other top games for both consoles. I'll tell you some games that look better than MGS4: Uncharted, Gears of War 1 & 2, Assassin's Creed and Killzone 2.
MGS4 is a great game, but the graphics are not nearly as good as some diehards try to make them out to be. It has quite a bit of aliasing (especially shadows), the textures are only average and the whole game runs at a sub-HD resolution.
Compared to, let's say Uncharted, it has inferior...
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know, all PS3 fanboys just happen to have gaming capable PCs, right? Ahem, bullshit.
Judging by PC game sales compared to console game sales I would be willing to bet that only a fraction of the PS3 fanboys that claim they will play a game on the PC actually have a PC capable of running said PC game.
It's obvious what people like that are trying to do and it is really pathetic.
Compare the sales of any Microsoft exclusive on the 360...
Why is it that we can't get hardly any good JRPGs this generation on any console?
ODST is going to be so awesome. Bungie know how to make fun gameplay and I can't wait to see what they have cooked up for ODST.
Looks really nice. I have to admit the PS3 has a great lineup of upcoming games.
Based on the screen shots I actually thought the 360 version looked better. But since the 360 version has a bunch of screen tearing and PS3 version has none I would easily pick the PS3 version. I hate screen tearing more than almost any other technical issue. It ruins a game's sense of quality and its immersion.
I also compared Wanted Weapons of Fate on both consoles and I thought the PS3 version was better overall for the same reasons. The 360 version had lots of screen te...
Sorry, no, all those games were shown to look or perform better on the 360.
The game is looking killer. I thought the first one was pretty good but this one looks even better. The graphics are easily some of the best we have seen on consoles.
I love the new NXE interface and the way Sky Player integrates into it looks exceptional. If the rumored Hulu works as smoothly and is as well integrated it would likewise be an awesome feature to add to the 360's already formidable feature set.
That would be so amazing. I love Halo. But ODST would be enough for me anyway.
