The graphics look amazing. The only question is, how good will it run? Will there be screen tearing and slowdown or will it be polished and run well? The graphics themselves, though, look great.
It doesn't matter. They both look exceptionally good and Uncharted 2 is an amazing game and I believe Alan Wake will be as well.
I don't care what any fanboys say, Halo Reach holds up very well to any other FPS in the graphics department. It looks awesome. I am also willing to bet that Halo Reach will be the far better game in terms of gameplay. That's not to say that I am not looking forward to Crysis 2, because I am. Kind of strange comparison anyway, since some of the Crysis 2 shots are not even screenshots, but rather artwork.

I've played all of those games and I still think Halo Reach looks awesome.
I thought it was pretty obvious that no console will be "killing" any other console at this point. And that is exactly the way I want it. All consoles have something to offer, and for me the PS3 and 360 are personally great consoles and I think the competition between them is hugely beneficial for gamers.
BTW, God of War 3 looks awesome. I can't wait to get it. The demo didn't blow me away, but it was good fun nevertheless.
I agree that those two games are good, but you are crazy if you don't have Uncharted and Uncharted 2 among the top of your must keep list. In my opinion they are better than MGS4 or LBP.
I'm looking forward to God of War 3. I have only had the chance to play the demo so far. It will be the next game I buy.

Let's not distort things here. People were talking about the graphics, not necessarily the gameplay or overall polish. I remember most people saying things like "could turn out to be pretty awesome" or "this could be a sleeper hit". There is nothing wrong with that.
As for the graphics, I'd say they still look very impressive to me. Although apparently the game is pretty glitchy. Oh well, it still looks pretty decent overall.
Ah such good memories of playing Killzone 2. I really enjoyed Killzone 2 and I am eagerly waiting to see what Guerrilla do with Killzone 3. I hope it gets announced soon. This will surely be a great E3 in any case.
Well, I'd have to say that Uncharted 2 is MY favorite game of all time. It's just so so good. Naughty Dog are incredible developers.
It's on PC, but it is exclusive to the 360 within the console space.

That is awesome news. It is nice how some of Sony's first party developers are able to make amazing looking games with almost no load times.
I own both consoles too and in my opinion Metro 2033 looks quite comparable to the games you mentioned. I won't know for sure until I play it for myself, but from what I have seen the graphics seem comparable to U2 & KZ2.
To say it looks no better than Resistance 2 is just crazy talk. Resistance 2 was not that great looking in my opinion. Modern Warfare 2 looks much better than Resistance 2 and Metro 2033 looks better than either of them.
Being a fanboy is one thing, but being an insane fanboy is another thing.
I have never been that impressed with the graphics in MGS4. So many games look better than MGS4 in my opinion: Modern Warfare 2, Gears of War 2, Resident Evil 5, Assassin's Creed 2, to name a few.

It really does look amazing. The lighting and textures look excellent. I will have to see it on my HDTV to know for sure exactly how it stacks up to other top graphics games. What I love about Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 is just how polished they are. They look amazing but they also have tons of polish.

What delusional nonsense! I love all my consoles, but you guys are off your rockers. There is no conspiracy. Big games on all consoles are held up to this kind of scrutiny. That said, God of War 3 looks absolutely amazing. I have played the demo many times and I can't wait to get the full game.
