They both look damn good. That is all.
Oh dear god, this is one of the games I have been waiting for forever. Deus Ex is still one of my favorite games of all time and even Deus Ex Invisible War is in my top 10. Needless to say, I love this franchise. I can't wait to see what they have done with it.
Too bad the trailer appears to be pre-rendered CGI. I can't wait to see more though.
Why are some of you acting surprised? This is right around the price that I was expecting.
If it offers a neat experience and has the games to support it I will definitely buy it.
It's not just what Insomniac has done. It is a growing trend within the industry.
Yeah, and a job at Sony seems like what you are aiming for. You even have Cell in your name. Jeesh! Hypocrisy much?
@ callahan09
Well, I agree that it is highly unlikely for Infamous to go to any other console, but it's not impossible. If Sucker Punch was purchased by a big publisher and they asked Sony if they could buy the rights to the Infamous IP and Sony agreed then yes, it could happen. Highly unlikely, as I said, but not impossible.
As far as Sucker Punch going multi-platform, I'd say that it is most likely a matter of time, unless Sony buys them.
Not only were the scores good when it came out, but I think a lot of people looked back on their experience playing Crackdown and realized how much fun they had, and the game became a kind of cult classic. In other words, I think a lot of people were partially motivated to buy the game because of the Halo 3 beta, but soon realized that the game was a gem.
Nice preview. I really enjoyed reading it. Makes me excited for the game to come out. I had so much fun with Crackdown and I can't wait to play Crackdown 2.
This is a flatout lie. I play a lot on both services and neither service is noticeably smoother or less laggy. It really depends on the game. I will say that in my experience downloads are faster over Xbox Live than over the PSN.
God, greywulf, do you really think number of players has much to do with a console's power? You're an idiot if you do. It has almost nothing to do with the power of the console, it is almost all server side and network code. It's obvious you don't have much knowledge in this area.
It's really up to the developers. There could be games with hundreds of players on Xbox Live if the developers had the networking know-how and chose to do it. The fact that ...
You know what? You sound like a real gamer. Bubble up.
I agreed with you. On the other hand, I think a lot of people are going too far claiming that the 360 is falling behind on the games front.
If you look at it honestly, this year the PS3 has had God of War 3 (93), Heavy Rain (87) and Mod Nation Racers (82), while the 360 has had Mass Effect 2 (96), Splinter Cell Conviction (85) and Alan Wake (83).
I don't see the big difference. Personally, so far this year I have liked the 360's lineup better than...
Nice pre-order gift. I haven't pre-ordered but I'm going to really soon.
It doesn't look that good. You are really exaggerating.
PS3 has some great exclusives, but its a matter of opinion whether it has the best exclusives. I generally find about the same amount of exclusives I want to play on both of my consoles.
Hey crapgamer, I have mostly the same reasons and feelings about why I got my 360. It is still my favorite console overall. I love certain games on the PS3, but for me the 360 has a nicer interface that is faster and does more of the things that I want it to. I also prefer Xbox LIVE and the 360's controller. Another thing I appreciate is that a majority of multi-platform games perform better on the Xbox 360. Not to mention that some of my favorite games of the generation are on the 3...
Yeah, it doesn't look that special to me any more. The engine they used in KZ2 was something a little bit different and it stood out at the time, but now I've gotten completely used to its look and it doesn't really impress as much as it used to.
Personally I think Crysis 2 and Rage will probably look better.
Dang, these shots make it look worse than Killzone 2. Oh well, I'm sure it will look good anyway.
Yeah it looks better, but I can't tell a huge difference by the screenshots. Then again, the Killzone 3 screenshots didn't really look much different than Killzone 2, so I can't wait to see more. I am sure Epic will show this game at E3.
Look at all the usual suspects in a frenzy, shouting "no game can equal da pS3z exklusivs". It's really sad.
It's clear just from the trailer that is on the site that the game is extremely gorgeous and the other thing is, they have actually seen the game in person, you guys haven't. Even when games look as good as PS3 exclusives you guys just deny it, because it goes against your fanboy religion.
