If that turns out to be the case I might have to get this for the PS3. I love Dead Space. I got the first one for the 360 because after playing both versions I noticed that the 360 version had a better frame rate and the PS3 version had a few spots where the graphics were slightly paired down. All in all though it was one of the closer multiplatform games, so if this one is the same and it has exclusive content on the PS3 I might go for that version.
Personally, I am really excited for Kinect. It will be great for social gaming when friends and family come over, at parties and stuff like that. Then of course games like Gears of War 3, Fable 3, Halo Reach and Crackdown 2 will fulfill my more "hardcore" gaming needs.

It looks just as good to me. Just in a different way. Some things one does better, some things the other looks better.
What I have to laugh at are the people that act like Killzone 2 has some kind of flawless, untouchable graphics. It looks good in many ways, but I like some things about the way Halo looks better.
Huh? The graphics are a lot better than Halo 3. The lighting, effects and even textures all have seen noticeable improvements. It's easily one of the best looking shooters around.
Well, I definitely thought that this year Microsoft had more of an emphasis on motion controls and more of their casual games. But I already expected that. This year was all about Kinect and the new Xbox 360 redesign. That said, I absolutely loved what I saw of Gears of War 3 and Halo Reach.
All in all, as a core gamer I would say this wasn't there best, but it also wasn't nearly as bad as some people are making it out to be. I would give them a B this year.
Actually, visually there is a very large difference. I can't believe some of you didn't notice that it now has real-time lighting and shadows. This is HUGE! It's a very noticeable difference. Look at the way shadows are cast across the landscape and how they move over the characters.
Visually and gameplay wise it is everything I could have hoped for. I love the new brutal melee kills.
What a fanboy. Timbland101, quit being so biased. Sony didn't invent the idea of product redesigns. Kinect is also quite different than PS Eye.
Nevertheless, every company borrows previous ideas and reworks them towards their own purposes. People have already given some examples of things Sony has copied so I hope you realize how biased you sound.
I couldn't care less about Bluray in my console. I already have a really good stand alone Bluray player.
Ridiculous. Even the current 360s have very low failure rates (I'm talking Jasper, etc). I know lots of people that have them and I don't know of any of them failing.

Like I said before, there are about 3 upcoming 360 exclusives I want (Fable 3, Halo Reach and Gears 3) and there are about 3 PS3 exclusives I want (Killzone 3, Infamous 2 and Last Guardian). So I don't see the big difference.

In their minds, some of these fanboys actually convince themselves that they don't want to play anything on the 360, but it's a fact that the 360 has the largest library of games.

Of course all the diehard PS3 fanboys on this site are going to say no. But out in the real world I guarantee that the Xbox 360 redesign is going to make a big impact.
It looks absolutely fantastic. I'm getting one. My old 360 that I got at launch is still going strong, but I can't resist the quieter, slicker-looking 360. I can't wait.
I thought it looked cool. I also noticed that the gameplay portion looked better than MGS4, so that is a awesome.

I'm sorry, I don't believe it is sincere. And it is a slap in the face to the millions of us that love and play the Halo games. A game doesn't have that kind of staying power by being mediocre.
If that was made in-engine then that is an absolutely insane level of graphics.
