Hopefully Jade Empire 2.
Exactly, ReBurn. That is the truth. I like the 360 and the PS3, so that is what I bought.
No, Obama, you don't know the difference between facts and opinions.
I'd say Gears 3 is already shaping up to possibly surpass Uncharted 2 and it still has a long ways to go. I'm not saying it is going to see huge improvements between now and when it comes out, but I am sure it will see further optimizations and polish.
Well, it looks a lot better. The lighting engine has been dramatically overhauled and now supports full dynamic shadows, god rays poring through the foliage, dynamically generated highlights, etc.
I just wanted to also mention that Fable 3 looks noticeably better than Fable 2 and is without a doubt one of the best looking RPGs on any console.

Look, Uncharted and Uncharted 2 are two of my favorite games this generation, but the jump wasn't all that big in my opinion. Uncharted already looked amazing. In some ways I still think the jungle environments in Uncharted look better than the jungle environments in Uncharted 2.
Artistically Uncharted 2 was much more varied and interesting than Uncharted DF and they did do things like fix the screen tearing present in the first game. They also improved a few of the po...
Well, Gears of War 3 is clearly a huge improvement over Gears of War 2. For one thing, Gears 3 now has a fully dynamic lighting system. That one thing by itself is a HUGE improvement.
In fact, it is a bigger improvement than any of the jumps we have seen betwen Uncharted and Uncharted 2 or Killzone 2 and Killzone 3.
Games continue to look better (and even make big leaps) on the 360 so it is clearly not tapped out.
That's true. This one looks much better.
Hahaha hilarious. Wan miurun truuupsu!
Exxxxtreeeeem!
I just got done beating God of War 3 and that game wasn't that long. Killzone 2 campaign wasn't that long either. In fact, when I think about I don't really think any PS3 are longer on average than other games. Pure bunk.
asyouburn, you have got to be joking. Look again. This game has much better visuals than MGS4. Everything from the textures to the shadows and character models seems to have been improved.
MGS4 was a great game, but quit being such a fanboy for it. Rising does look better and we should be happy about that.
Thanks, Parapraxis. You saved me from going and having to look for it. Plus I am sure it will be helpful to a few others that view this comment section. I guess it would have helped if I read the article first.
I'm downloading too. Although to be honest I don't remember what this is supposed to add. Can anybody refresh my memory. Is there anything cool aside from the PSN+ ?
That's funny. I remember playing games on the NES and thinking they looked pretty good. Wow, how times change.
Don't you realize how biased that sounds? You say the 360 isn't going to pull in more users with sequels to blockbuster franchises like Halo, Fable and Gears of War, but then you go on to list a bunch of sequels on the PS3.
The only big PS3 game that isn't a sequel is The Last Guardian, but we don't even know when that will come out. Microsoft might announce something by the time that game ever comes out.
The fact is GT5, LBP2, Infamous 2, K...
This site was never overrun by 360 fanboys. Go look at old articles. As some have pointed out there were indeed PS3 fanboys back then, just not as many as now. It wasn't overrun with 360 fanboys that's for sure. It was more of a natural balance between 360 fans and PS3 fans. I wish it were that way now.
How do you know it will only be for a week? Oh that's right, you don't.
Just because you like it better does not make it better. Other people have different opinions. Not everybody has the same needs or wants, so assuming everybody wants the same features as you is asinine.
I could just as easily say that you are the stupid sheep buying into the Playstation fad just because it was more popular last generation. But I won't do that because I have a PS3 that I love and I recognize that different people like different things.

Sometimes the gap will shrink and sometimes it will widen depending on the moves Sony and Microsoft make.
After the PS3 had a price cut and the slim version came out it naturally had a sales boost. Now that the 360 has just released the new 360 S, had a price cut on the current Arcade models and has Halo Reach coming up the 360 will naturally see a large sales boost.
Just because the gap shrinks for awhile does not mean that it will continue to shrink. Like...
Unicron,
Sure, you can point to a few examples of bias in favor of the 360, but there are also some sites and reviewers that have a pro-PS3 bias. It goes both ways.
But in my opinion most of the established game sites out there do a pretty damn good job being impartial and judging games on their own merits.
Pointing out some isolated example of pro-360 bias does not mean that there aren't also examples of reviewers that are clearly biased in favo...
