I think that is a matter of taste. Personally, I think the new 360 S looks a lot more stylish and modern than the the PS3 Slim, which looks kind of basic and plain to me.

Yeah, the two types of fans are way different. Wii fans and PS3 fans act completely different. That isn't to say that some people don't own both or all three consoles...like me :)
It's really nice that we will have the choice to play as a girl if we choose. Girl gamers will probably appreciate that feature the most. Gears of War 3 is also introducing female characters.

Well, even before the Xbox 360 S I believe the failure rate had gone way down. Nobody I know who has bought one in the past year has had a problem and they seem to run much cooler and quieter. So I am sure that this new model which runs even cooler and uses less energy is only going to be more reliable. It just makes sense.
Tell me about it. I had two PS2s die on me. I don't bring it up very much on this site because a lot of fanboys get mad at me and I really don't have a reason to most of the time. But it always irked me when people would say "why do you idiots buy a console that fails on you", all the while some of these people were big fans of the PS2.
I had my 360 die on me one time right after I got it at launch and then they fixed it for free and I never had a problem...

Hmm...we'll see. In any case, I think the PS3 and 360 are both going to have great holliday sales. The PS3 has been on a roll lately and the 360 has seen a nice redesign and a price drop (on current Arcade models), so I think they are both going to do very well.
Then of course we also have the two new motion control devices which I am not quite sure how they will turn out but I think they will generally help both companies to appeal to a wider demographic.

I think it has an amazing fiction and I would love to see it made into a well-produced movie. And believe me if it gets made into a movie it won't be any kind of low-budget affair.
