Yeah, the Mass Effect series is by far one of the best I have played this generation.
Of course not. On the internet all PS3 fanboys act like they own PCs, but on my friends list on my PS3 I see everybody playing a bunch of multi-platfrom games. They are hypocrites. They act like they own PCs to attack the 360, but then they turn around and buy those multi-platform games for their PS3s, even though the PC versions are technically superior.
Exclusive does not mean "it can't be found on any other platform". That's nonsense. It depends on which category you are talking about. On consoles those games are exclusive to the 360.
If you don't already have a 360 it is a great option. If you already have a 360 it still might be worth trading in your older model. The 360 S runs a lot cooler and quieter. And of course it also has a much bigger hard drive, as well as built in wi-fi. I also simply like the way it looks.
Sales don't equal quality, remember that one?
Most of you are probably too young to remember the NES era, but I agree with Wages of Sin that the NES is the most important console of all time. It literally saved video gaming.
@raztad
Yeah, such a superior media format that FFVII required 3 discs. I thought that was the end of the world.
I don't completely agree with the list, but it is a good list. Those were all important consoles that had a dramatic impact on the gaming landscape.
For those hating on the 360, it's really pathetic and childish. No true gamer can deny the great things the 360 has offered. The PS3 is also a great console. The problem is, I don't really see anybody hating on the PS3 here. Even the ones that prefer the 360 aren't hating on the PS3, they are just explaining ...
Please come back down to earth. The PS3 and 360 are basically equivalent and next generation consoles will make today's graphics look way outdated.
You will be surprised just how much better graphics are going to get. We aren't even close to creating photo-realistic graphics. Graphics will continue to improve in major ways.
You say that now, but when you see the kinds of graphics and physics that the next generation consoles will be able to produce I think you will change your mind.
The graphics look really good and I love the SMART traversal system. The way multiplayer and single player work is also unique and looks quite fun.
I know what you mean. I still have my original Xbox and my girlfriend's son plays it all the time and it still works perfectly. The original Xbox was a well built machine.
I don't believe you. The way you worship Playstation and hate Xbox I don't think you would be honest.
I got the RROD one time 5 years ago and MS fixed it and I haven't had a problem with it since.
My PS3 hasn't died on me, but it does freeze all the time. Does anybody know what causes that?
My PS3 freezes all the time, but at least it has never YLOD on me.
Your comment is ridiculous. Why can't we mix physical activity with gaming?
Sometimes I want to be outside doing something active, sometimes I just want to relax and play a traditional video game, and sometimes I enjoy playing a video game that requires physical activity. There is room for all types of activity.
Bubbles. I agree. I wouldn't want to be without either console.
You are exaggerating, there are only a couple.
Besides, what about them counting last gen games like Sly Cooper Collection for the PS3 list? Just recycling last gen games doesn't really count in my opinion.
Wow, as far as exclusives that have already been released the 360 has about 2 or 3 times as many as the PS3.
You guys are acting like a-holes. Forza 3 is a wonderful game and he is absolutely right that at the moment Forza 3 is the highest rated racing sim on consoles.
Quit talking so much crap about Forza 3. I defend GT5 against this author's statements, but when you start talking crap about Forza 3, which is an amazing game, it just makes you guys look petty and hypocritical.
Really? I actually thought Rage looked better than Killzone 3. My jaw dropped when I saw Rage gameplay from E3.
