I can't wait to see more. Killzone 3 is going to be awesome.
Sadly, I kind of feel like that too. Some people here know that I have always liked both the 360 and the PS3, but I really do feel like Microsoft is kind of leaving core gamers behind.
It seems like they just want to go after casuals because they see it as a lucrative market. Sure, they throw us a few bones here and there with games like Halo Reach, Gears 3 and Fable 3 (and I am really looking forward to those games), but you can't just keep pumping out the same three o...
Damn, how do you have time for all that? I guess I am not that much better though. lol I just don't have a gaming PC.
I play my PS3 and 360 more than my Wii though.
You can't beat the exclusives. Sony just excels like crazy at first party exclusives. No other console comes close in that way. Nintendo has some good first party games, but they are mostly games in the same franchises, they don't have the variety that you get on the PS3.
I like my 360 too, but Sony rules at creating awesome exclusives.
Free internet, reliable hardware and Blu-ray only add to the value.
I agree, guys. The PS3 is on fire!
This is awesome. That is a lot of features packed into one game.
It's got: campaign, multiplayer modes, 3D support, Move support, 2 player campaign co-op, 4 player objective based co-op and drop dead gorgeous graphics. hehe
Ahahahah! You are funny. Just enjoy your console. lol
"rage looks good but is no where near quality of any ps3 exlcusive"
Come on, man, I love my PS3, but what you said sounds plain loony. Any PS3 exclusive? Are you really claiming that Rage doesn't look better than games like Warhawk, Infamous, Twisted Metal, MAG or Resistance?
I'd say Rage clearly looks a lot better than any of those games.
It's true there are certain things that can be done on the PS3 that can't be done exactly the same way on the 360, but there are also things that can be done on the 360 that can't be done exactly the same way on the PS3. This is because both consoles have their strengths and weaknesses.
I do wish Microsoft would invest in more first party development so that we could see more games that really push the 360.
Exactly. There is very little that is truly new under the sun. Most of the basic ideas have already been established. A truly masterful game like Uncharted 2 achieves its mastery through refinement, polish, and mixing older ideas in fresh, new ways--as well as introducing a few new ideas of its own.
All good games are going to have a few derivative elements since they are going to build from successful ideas that have been proven to work well. Why totally reinvent the whe...
Thanks for being fair to both series. Uncharted 2 is the one I prefer overall, but Gears of War is also a great series. I like when people can be fair.
Like I have said many times before, Uncharted 2 is simply one of the best games I have ever played. It deserves all the praise it has gotten.
YES! It is a great investment. I don't know of any other electronics device that gives you more bang for your buck.
Very nice indeed. Killzone 3 is going to rock.
Even though I know you lean towards the PS3 and I basically like my PS3 and 360 equally, I have to agree with you here.
Microsoft's biggest weakness is their lack of first party exclusives. They do tend to get quite a few exclusives in the end, but you can never count on them staying on the 360.
They need more games to define their console--games that people identify with the Xbox platform and only the Xbox platform.
I agree with you. You summed up my feelings perfectly.
I like the PS3 and 360 about equally, but the 360's biggest weakness is Microsoft's unwillingness to invest in more first party studios.
I really love this new Xbox 360 S. It runs so much cooler and quieter. It looks awesome too.
The problem had already been reduced to within industry standards well before the Xbox 360 S came on the scene. The Jaspers were very reliable. A few isolated cases (of which there were similar cases with the PS3) was enough to keep the fanboy spin going, but in reality the problem had already been essentially eradicated.
Guys, they are both good consoles. Quit getting your panties in a bunch every time something comes along that isn't completely pro-PS3 and anti-360.
I find it hilarious that some people were willing to jump on the bandwagon of claiming the 360 had a 56% failure rate based on nothing but a random poll without any evidence to support it, yet now when a test was conducted 5 different times you are demanding proof. Can you say hypocrisy?
What proof could th...
This sounds great. I'm liking what they have done with Halo Reach.
