I knew this game was going to be amazing and surprise a lot of people. The gameplay, graphics and storytelling all seem to be of the highest quality. This game has me more excited than any other game coming out for the remainder of the year.
Not by taking cover for a few seconds...lol
But imagine how boring it would be if they had to take you to the hospital in the game every time you got shot and you had to stay there for a few days or weeks to recover.
Realism is good to a point, but not when it gets in the way of having fun.
Yep, and it already looks polished. I played Crysis 2 at PAX on the 360 and the graphics are nice, but it needs some serious polishing. There is too much pop-in and jaggies. Killzone 3, on the other hand looks like it could ship tomorrow. It already looks stunning and extremely polished.
I can't wait to play Killzone 3. Killzone 2 is one of my favorite shooters of all time.
I wonder why my copy of Forza 3 looks nothing like that. It has rich colors and side track details.
Off screen can also have the affect of giving a game more apparent contrast and color saturation.
This wasn't a well done comparison in my opinion. I mean, just look at some of the other comparison videos and it is obvious that Forza 3 doesn't look so washed out like that. I don't know how they captured that footage, but it doesn't look lik...
Isn't the campaign about as long as Killzone 2's campaign? They seemed about the same length to me. Certainly not enough to give one any real advantage over the other. I also just liked the characters and narrative of Halo Reach better.

I agree with you. I don't see a big difference between them. Whether playing Forza 3 and GT5P on my tv, or videos of GT5 and Forza 3 online, or screenshots, I just don't see much of a difference. They both look really good and they both do some things better than the other.

Awesome news. This is probably my most anticipated game next year. Team Ico games are unique masterpieces that have stayed with me long after finishing them.
This game caught my attention since it was announced. I love Studio Ghibli and this looks very much like one of their movies. It's beautiful.
It will be interesting to see if they announce anything not Kinect related.
What's even more wrong with his comment is that most reviews have said that Halo Reach has the best narrative of any of the Halo games since the first one.
Actually, if you take away the nostalgia factor I probably would have to say that for me this is the best storyline out of any of the Halo games based on what I have played so far.

Neither the 360 or the PS3 is anywhere remotely close to being dead. They both offer some great games and features. Which games or features will appeal to you more is a matter of individual taste.

I was scratching my head at this comment because I was thinking almost the exact opposite. When I was playing Halo Reach I was noticing how crisp details and textures were even at some distance away. Most games I have seen lose detail at closer distances.
That's the sad thing, fanboys will say anything even if it is blatantly false.
I've heard fanboys claim the game is too short--which is laughable since the amount of content in Halo Reach is practically unheard of and the length is perfect. I've also heard people try to act like the graphics are bad---again, just laughable since Halo Reach is easily one of the best looking games I have played.

They might have come out last generation, but they are true works of art, and art is timeless.
The Japanese make some of the best games ever, but only when they make them from the heart, following their own sensibilities. When they try to make their games more "western" it often just ends up feeling hollow.
Games like Shadow of the Colossus, Onimusha, Demon's Souls, and Okami are all extremely unique and very good games, and the reason is because those Japanese developers followed their own sensibilities and gave their imaginations free reign.
